Casey Hudson wants to hear fan's ideas on a new mass effect game

The citadel hinted at hosting a bajillion other life forms than the ones we've seen, there's a good chance we could see new races developed for the new ME game in a time way beyond the events of ME3. It doesn't have to be about the next threat of the new galaxy by an unnamed race. It could be about the increasing phenomena that happens only in space like supernovas or black holes.
[If possible I'd love to explore a greater uncharted section of the universe and the planets on them in some capacity ]

A sequel should be more Captain Kirk than Commander Bond - exploration and crew management, rediscovering a semi-wrecked galaxy, finding out what happened next.
It should be possible to take account of the ending(s), with a question and answer session at the start. There are ways to account for the key differences on the whole (though not entirely sure about Synthesis).
Start with cadets in a lecture, to answer the questions, and allow the protagonist to be of any species and gender.
My two penneth.

As a separate game sure, but those would be shooters, given the nature of the events.
Aside from that, trying to make a prequel far back in ME history would be pointless. It would Just be the whole Reaper threat again with different races, and that will result in one ending, that cycle being harvested. Our choices won't matter.
BW could try play it safe and do someone else's story during the events of ME. But given that Shepard is off saving the Galaxy against the Reapers at the same time, any other story will pale in comparison during this time line.
The only way is forward. Hold the line.

Mass Effect 3 Remake, with Karpyshin and Weekes leading the script.
Im guessing those were the lead writers for me 1 and 2 which me3 desperately needed so an enfatic yes.
2.) Here is another suggestion how about you wait five years and maybe i dont know get a new team that can actually doa good job and not make plot holes.
3) DUMP EA!!!

I got no boss fight. I had to bend over and accept Reaper tech as part of my solution to save the Galaxy - i.e. build the Reapers a Crucible (read: battery). In ME1 and 2 the Reapers were evil monsters - in ME3 they are merely sweet harvesting robots lovingly tending to their crops. This idea sucks hard to anyone with writing skills above the level of a dead houseplant. The laughable idea that organics and AI must battle to the death is worn out and did not need to be in the game. The idea that Starbrat is killing us all in order to save us from being wiped out by synthetics is prepsterously dumb. At no point in ME3 was there the feeling that you could win. I do not play video games to lose.
Whatever Mass Effect was - its dead now. The ability to make good games seems dead as well - but only because the writing was so horrible. Whoever did the story for ME1 was a genious - but I think they have been gone from the company for quite some time. Until they get a writer of that caliber back, there is no point in buying into the idea that any further ME stuffs is worth purchasing.
Even if they make a good game in the interim, what is to prevent a ME3 type of trashtasticness from happening again?

To help with the process of rebuilding the universe after the reaper invasion either Liara herself has returned to her role as Shadow Broker or she has set up Feron to replace her. The Shadow Brokers remit is to do whatever it takes to restore the galaxy. To that end they are recruiting new agents - namely you the player. This could allow for either a single player game or some kind of co-op multiplayer. You could play not only as a human but also as other species. At different points in the story you would meet up with familiar faces from the existing games in cameo roles & they could fill in some of the details of what happened after 'the ending', it might even give Bioware a chance to include things which would help answer some of the fans problems with the way things turned out without having to rewrite it.
You could get a nice mixture of familiar species, characters, places & ideas alongside other new developments to take the story off in a new direction.

Think of it this way. Shepard’s story is the main ark for the Milky Way, what galaxy (Story) is next for us to experience.

I prefer the drama and scope of ME1 over the baysplosions of ME3.
I want good actors. I don't know what deal you had with IGN, but Jessica Chobot should not have been in ME3.
Make it a sequel. I don't care how challenging that is. People wanted closure, so let us see the galaxy we saved. A sequel could include Leviathans, but the problem is that the story could be too similar to that of the ME trilogy.
ME2 had the best dialog system. Auto-dialog instead of ME1's system where three choices lead to the same line, but don't get greedy with auto-dialog like in ME3. In ME3 I felt I didn't have enough control over Shepard's emotions. That's a crucial error in an RPG. Also, more than two options per dialog wheel.
I want it to be a single player action RPG.
If there's gonna be multiplayer, I want it to be more than just wave combat. Make them missions with objectives.
No fetch quests. Missions have to feel meaningful, even if they're not tied to the main storyline.

Basically I would like to see a "What Happens Next?'" type of game but I can see how that would necessarily force Bioware to say definitively which of the three endings was canon. If that can't or shouldn't be done then possibly a prequel type of game, though prequels tend to suck. They just don't have the emotional heft seeing something new done with a fully fleshed out "universe" fans are used to.
Again, GO BIG. Don't be afraid. If it sucks, you will know it.

BW have spent 5years building up this Galaxy, not just Shepard with extended media, the DLC and EC further builds up on it. BW is unlikely then to turn around and start a fresh after putting so much work into it.RydeCrash wrote...
It has been stated ME3 is the End of Shepard’s story, couldn’t that mean the end of the story for our Galaxy? There are unknown amounts of Galaxies in the ME universe for a new story to evolve.

I mean, if that's the end of Shepard, at least it was done in a way we'd know Shepard would want to go... Still doesn't make me like it, now that I have played all three.
Hopefully, Mr. Hudson, you can find a way to bring back Shepard... If Shepard gets a "vacation" that's fine... But permanent end for Shepard? No...

Control = Cloned Shepard
Synthesis = No. Just No. I don't want a Green Shepard messing up my Renegade eyes.
There we go
Or... Cerberus secret project. Cloning a Shepard for all endings, and using him against the Galaxy and Crew, up to your friends and allies to reconnect Shepard to his humanity.

Cause now we are talking "make this\\that ending canon". Why? Because, storytelling-wise, it's going to be very difficult for them to come up with story, antagonist, etc. for a synthesis ending. I picked the synthesis ending, but my ending is going to get phased out b/c it would hard to continue the story. And what about star kid? Knowing what you know now, how will he be it be included in the next ME? Or will he?
I want another ME4 but it's going to be interesting seeing how they figure this out. My requests are simple:
-More HUB worlds. Besides the ending, that was the biggest complaint for me
-More exploration. This is one of the reasons that made ME1 great. Looking out onto the landscape of different planets and seeing binary star systems and whatnot was amazing
-Alien homeworlds. Had some of that in ME2. Would like more in ME4
-As far as story, I guess I would like to see a character who has to deal with the impact of Shepard's decisions in ME3. If you decided to cure the genophage, did the Krogran rise up and try to take over? If you decided not to, Did they go extinct? Are people happy or angry with Sheps decisions? Did they go to war? I don't know something like that. To me, that would really show that our choices mattered...
