It was far, far more than the math error that wrecked ME3 and its "choices" (though yes, the repeated claims MP was "entirely optional" did become rather comically sad after it was proved untrue by players)

I think what he's referring to is a bug that still exists in the software today whereby it won't total up your war assets including the time that you've played (or rather the amount of N7 rank) online.

Bioware please scrap the multiplayer unless it's going to become more coop.

It is boring and takes away room to add more missions,
storylines, side missions, characters, dialoge, person to person conversation improvements.

MP in ME3 was very successful so it's 100% certain that the next game will have it. MP doesn't take away anything from SP unless it's developed late in production it's gets it's own resources, and SP won't get any extra resources if there was no MP.

I don't think Dr_Brilliant is around.

I asked the same thing.

This thread's name is out of date.

However the discussion is still valid.

I know how Bioware likes it's specific stories so how about let's get a game where we play as Garrus. That would be pretty epic.

Have challenges in the game similiar to the Batman games or whatever other game has chellenges. They have no effect on the game itself and completely separate.

Im not sure how many people liked omni weapons, but i really hope they make a comeback in me4.

Preferably, id like to be able to tweak our omni tool weapons. For example, if i want to add a cryo or incendiary or toxic enhancement, i can instead of using a predetermined enhancement.

I confess my love of the Tempest in dragon age inquisition has got me wishing to mimic a cloak and stab playstyle whilst harnessing an elemental effect :D

I don't even play this series any longer, but I am tossing out my completely pointless suggestion. Consider hiring Cliff Martinez for the soundtrack. Can't get enough of this man's work, since getting hooked on The Knick. It has a similar vibe to the original ME1 soundtrack, but still its own tone. Here is a sample:

(Sigh) I'm now addicted to the 2nd song. It's triggering some kind of ASMR effect on me.  :P

Thanks for this. I've never seen the show, but the music is great.

Meh.  Sounds like the kind'a song that the guy in Forgetting Sarah Marshall was describing.  Just tones.  No actual music.

EDIT :  Well, the second one.   The first one had music there.

Thank you for posting this! Great addition. I especially like around the 1:45. Love his sound. :) Still think he would be excellent for consideration, for MEnext.

No time travel, star children, or existential storylines that tend to appear in late chapters of Sci-Fi series is my preference.

And while I have no real intense knowledge of ME lore, I like the sound of the title: "Revenge of the X"; X being Batarians, Salarinans, Rachni, Krogan, or any other race that could hold a grudge due to past decisions made by Shepard. Use of ME: The Keep could be helpful in crafting a preferred World State. Or not....

Haven't read the whole thread so dunno if it's been suggested before but...

Please can we have a love interest who isn't so insecure and awkward? And for longer than one night (Javik was just about the only one who fit the description but then after the Citadel DLC it never gets mentioned again...) Yes, you can have self-esteem and loyalty in the same person.

I mean, Garrus is kind of adorable but I can't imagine a renegade Shep in that relationship.

My Shep was Renegade and I romanced Garrus! I thought it fit pretty well... they were both trying to one up each other and she demanded kisses and compliments from him. And my Shep encouraged him when he got relentless!

Suppose there's more than one way to play renegade! It's not a very well defined trait anyway. My renegade Shep prefers banter to romantic sentiments and would definitely expect sparring before the tiebreaker :P But when you pick that option, the relationship never happens...(he says he's afraid of losing to Shepard)

Well, my paragon Shep was more of a paragade and I found that a good match with Garrus.

I'd also like the next game to offer some perks to hybrid personality characters. It's too boring to play the entire game picking only one type of options.

Interestingly, we did have someone kinda like that in ME1:

"Look at who I am, Shepard.  Do you ever hear me ask for help?  It’s not like bad things don’t happen to me. I f you stay with me long enough, maybe I’ll tell you about some of them.  But I deal with them myself. I  don’t need a shoulder to cry on, a knight to rescue me, or a man to make me happy.  This is who I am. I  like her!  And you better like her too."

Not 100% sure who you mean - Liara? She is quite awkward in ME1, especially if you pick renegade options :P Later, she's too emotional and too easily offended IMHO.

I did pick her as paragon Shep but wasn't impressed by the chilly welcome on Illium.

That's actually dialogue from Ashley ;)

Dang shame what happened to her in ME2 and ME3...

Ohhh I see! Never played maleShep so I don't know about Ashley, but good to hear she's less awkward than Kaidan. Yeah, shame that she grows so distrustful of you, but I guess Bioware wanted a variety of reasons why you couldn't get everyone from your old team back.

I hope they try harder this time to get it right - it could make the game more immersive.

In ME2 I wanted my crew back, and I hated the whole dead and then hijacked by Cerberus terrorists deal.  They still pulled the game off very well, but I hated how they treated the LI's in ME2 and ME3.

I think that ME3 should have been more about getting the gang back together and having a super squad to defeat key Reaper forces.  It also would have been nice had they treated all LI's with similar respect / care / consideration.  Some of the LI's interactions felt like afterthoughts to me.

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here - I hope that things like this are taken into consideration in ME: Next

"The Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey and our teams have plans for another full game. “Where to go next?” with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your ideas."

So there it is, a public invitation to voice what we as fans want for the next Mass effect game. As it's a new game there are no restrictions to what can happen, it could be any time frame, Prothean's against the Reapers or decades after the reaper conflict and beyond. Seeing as there are planned future story dlc's for mass effect 3 id say we can rule out anything to do with Shepard and the characters we know at the moment thoguh.

So what do you want? I think something to do with the Prothean time but playing as the races that were enslaved and taken over by the Protheans, so Javik and his race are the bas guys.

But that's just me, what about you lot?

All I want is to see Tali's face in-game... rendered... for real... then I can die in peace.

I would welcome if you, Bioware, would stop measuring your targeted sales on Skyrim and also would stop to streamline your games for the wide masses.
I would like you to return to the roots of ME1, add more Rpg-Elements (like more skills and a wider Variation for each class and also items like armors and an inventory, so thet players can customise their character and theit party). I know Mr. Hilleman thinks games have to be easy as tic tac toe, but that's not true. A bit of complexity adds to a games appealing - especially if it's an Rpg, because it leaves room for experimentation and by so adds replay-value.

Also i would like to see some new, neverseen features... something like space combat (eventhough i know this is unlikely).

I would also like, if combat varied a bit more. Frankly spoken, most of the time the ME-combat feels like: start mission, go to cover, enemy spawn, shoot, shoot, shoot - use skill - shoot, shoot, shoot, all dead, go a few steps further rinse and repeat.
Why not adding something like destructable cover... or cover, that can be also used to attack (like throwing crates through biotics... or perhaps you throw a grenade to a crystal-pylon and the explosion destroys it and turns the shards into shrapnell).
Also i liked that security-bots in ME2 had different hitzones so you could destroy heir legs and still they would fight) and i would like to see more enemies like that... maybe some robot or ferocious beast with armor your have to destroy before it takes damage.
In general a bit more variety in enemies would be nice. ME1-3 it was mostly just geth, reaper and humans but the environment of planets were always tame (no man-eating plants or something).

Those are things i would really like to see... oh, and put a little more Effort into the romances. Since ME1 they all felt too much like "Do you wanna date: yes, No, Maybe?"... and after this tame love-cutscene nothing ever happened - no love-quarrels or something. It almost felt like a one-night-stand and not a relationship.
