Then again, turians in general seem to be something of a fan favourite, so take that as you will.
They can have both reach and flexibility ![]()

I prefer flexibility, but I wouldn't be averse to both. XP
ADDENDUM:
And I just remembered something I was going to put in my first post before I went on my rant against the Andromeda Relocation:
Biotics.
The possibilities there are with those powers are brilliant, especially in the multi-player with powers like Smash, Phase Disruptor and Biotic Orbs.
Being able to customise powers based on broad presets like Biotic, Tech and Combat at character creation and being able to branch out or specialise later would be awesome.
I dunno, maybe I've been watching too many Dragonball Xenoverse playthroughs, but the thought of playing a pure-Biotic character and just blasting everything just sounds appealing and kind of like what a Biotic ought to be capable of.
I whole-heartedly agree with what you're saying, but at the same time, multiplayer added a lot of replayability to ME3. And if it's not going to take away from the single player, then go right ahead Bioware.
I dunno about that. As soon as EC came out I dropped MP like a stone and never looked back. Once Galactic Readiness really wasn't needed anymore.

Each to their own, but I play it to this day.
The fact anything above Bronze is...difficult as all hell...aside, with all the different characters and weapons, it's addictive in its own way, not to mention fun.
You might not need it anymore, but it definitely can stand on its own merits.

And in all fairness, once you raise your N7 level by promoting characters high enough, you don't really need it anyway. I love starting up new games and having my EMS rating at like 6K.
Depending on the ending you picked in ME3, seeing the outcome of the choice you made, and if you had enough EMS points the results of the destroy ending, maybe seeing the results of the love interest as well (can't be any more specific than that since it's a no spoilers forum, even though everyone has already finished it, and I was two months late to getting ME3...two years for ME2).
I'm not worried about how many days/months/years/decades/centuries after the Earth mission the new game takes place, I would just like to see that Shepard's efforts didn't go unnoticed or there is some credit to his/her actions whatever they may have been (including along the way from ME1-ME3, every decision has an effect on the universe and the following sequels after all, right?).
Unless your doing a prequel, then I don't have any concerns as long as it doesn't mess with the story of the sequels that have already been laid out. I don't want to see another case of the prequels tainting a great story like George Lucas demonstrated with Star Wars.
I agree with you, except in the prequel we know what happens to every advanced society in the previous cycles, unless it would be a story in between like the metacon war...but i prefer to see the future... however, even in each cycle they allow them to reach a certain level of development, each cycle could be a future...but still, i like to hear of shepard like a war hero, like the a legend she became to inspire others to do what has to be done for the sake of the future of all.

I'm not saying it's needed, I'm saying that it's genuinely fun in its own right.
For something that was tacked on and that I wasn't sure of when I started playing, it's a great way to kill a few hours these days.
Kind of hard to see what they are going to do next. You already had galaxy purging super squids. Short of Galactus, I doubt anything can live up to the hype of the first 3 games.
wait and see... wait and see
So, I finished mass effect 3 this morning. Oh my god, did I cry inside. Thank you very much Bioware for creating an awesome video game. . no an awesome story. I hope that Mass effect 4 is just as great. Even though you say Shepherds story is done. Please let him/her make an appearance in the new one. (If they lived through the last choice.)
Anyways. . Like most people said here. A prequel might be nice.
I am with you in some way, when she threw herself to the beam of energy, I cried i really cried, it's the only game that made me feel sad to finish it.
Maybe start like Lisbeth Salander someone small and unknown with skills and get involved in something greater.
The Girl With The Mass Effect Tattoo?
Sorry, but that just made me laugh. I agree with you. It just made me laugh.

Oh the memories. Mass Effect 3 is the only game that's made me cry (and that's with MEHEM installed).
And sorry but I have to ask... based on the date of your quote, did you discover a time-travel wormhole to Andromeda or what?
"The Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey and our teams have plans for another full game. “Where to go next?” with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your ideas."
So there it is, a public invitation to voice what we as fans want for the next Mass effect game. As it's a new game there are no restrictions to what can happen, it could be any time frame, Prothean's against the Reapers or decades after the reaper conflict and beyond. Seeing as there are planned future story dlc's for mass effect 3 id say we can rule out anything to do with Shepard and the characters we know at the moment thoguh.
So what do you want? I think something to do with the Prothean time but playing as the races that were enslaved and taken over by the Protheans, so Javik and his race are the bas guys.
But that's just me, what about you lot?
I don't know if I want to take part in the new Mass Effect.
Bioware/EA already screwed up the original Mass Effect trilogy and lied to a bunch of players. And from what I've heard, you're throwing out the Milky Way galaxy and exploring in Andromeda, and from what I've seen in DA:I, I'm not optimistic. I have a feeling that we're just going to be running around collecting worthless items and doing fetch quests.
Honestly, it seems like even trying to get DA:I to be decent challenged the team. After a drop in quality over the past few years, in addition to leaving stories full of plot holes, I don't know if Bioware can even hope to make the series successful again.

DA:I wasn't that bad, it has issues but it also tried to do a lot of new things for Bioware and did them well. A lot of the issues I had with DA:I are also things that I think are inherently easier to fix with the ME setting and style. For me I just hope they're as creative as possible for this one and that that creativity carries over to something that can stand on its own outside of the Shepard trilogy.

DAI wasn't that bad, imo. But I do agree about the rest.
Disregard the above, I was trying to quote Torgette.
Deep character customization with nice hairstyles is a good idea.

the date is wrong for some reason.
I would like to be able to choose more than just one extra power. Not exactly a skill tree, but mix and match skills according to my class.
Also, I heard a lot of hate about the Not Milky Way Game thing, but I think it's fair to have the game somewhere else. A clean slate with more options to grow and not being attached to Shepard's "legacy". Don't get me wrong, I would love nods, easter eggs and mentions of what I did during the trilogy on the next ME game, but I want this Pathfinder character to be their own person, not Shepard 2.0.
And can we please get a female turian squad mate??

I would prefer it to be set in the Milky Way, and a lot darker than the previous few games. Perhaps the mercenaries in ME3 you recruited have managed to get controls for the newly rebuilt mass relay network, and are cutting off all who oppose them from the rest of the galaxy. There should be a lot of timed missions - i.e. "help defend X colony from the mercenaries before you go to X place, otherwise it will be lost", and times where you might have two missions open simultaneously, but you can't do both and maybe would have to choose between the planet which has the greatest tactical advantage, vs the planet maybe with your family or the family of a squad member on. You could have a "Strength rating" and a "squad loyalty rating" - the first would dictate how effective your allies were at taking down mercenaries and defending planets (it would also help to destroy the mercenaries in the final few levels) and the second would say how effective your squad is in combat situations, and would increase the likelihood of their deaths in certain missions if it is rather low.
Maybe it could be the Leviathans who are trying to become the dominant forces in the galaxy or something idk.

It wasn't bad, I enjoyed a decent bit of it, it's just that it has a ton of filler quests that you have to do to get power to progress in the main story. It ruins the re-playability of the game by forcing you to do small, pointless quests that aren't interesting and rarely contribute to the story or lore.
Yep, what Inquisition needed was 50% fewer fetch quests and 2-4 more hearty main story quests, as well as a 300% increase in cinematic conversations.
I know I sound like some kind of quarterly earnings report, but it's late. The point is, ME4 needs not to repeat Inquisition's particularly troubling ratio. Alas, I fear it shall.
Oh well, space hype anyway.
Race selection.
