These could be good things for renegade

If a squadmate says something stupid, the player can beat the crap out of that squadmate or at least get in their face and use some very harsh dialogue. This can apply to crewmembers as well

A squadmate lack of action that leads to the player choosing to kick that squadmate off the roster and/or  off the ship

AND we could give them quarters down by the trash compactor.....  damn, that makes me miss Robin Sachs.

At this late date, BW has already chosen the storyline and much of it is in code and being tested, so all our story suggestions are for our own amusement. So here's one more:

Shepard has chosen to control the reapers, and the catalyst is gone. Being human, Shepard has been corrupted by power and uses the reapers to dictate his idea of utopia to the races. He has to have the reapers become increasingly dominant and violent as the races resist. Large groups of some races have broken away and found an isolated and defensible part of the galaxy to hide in. They have been discovered. The storyline is Shepard/reapers attempts to defeat the defectors versus their attempts to remain free.

Not totally disagree with you(All these can lead to nice options) but that's not my point.

Also don't miss that renegade=/= evil or angry video game nerd kinda adolescent with some mental problems.

People, including developers/writers etc mostly miss that stuff.

If milk would worth more than cocaine drug dealers would sell milk, simple as that. They're not selling it "to drug people because they're evil hur hur", just "gaining money while not caring about morality much or not at all"

For example in KOTOR you could "reject" beggars and that would make you "Dark lord of the sith", non-sense. My character was like "I have  a galaxy to save, i'm in a hurry. I can't reach to all of you so use other means." not "You don't deserve a dime. You deserve to die!!!"

Or in Fallout 3 you could blow Megaton just because you could. Not that they fired a shot on you, not that they stole stuff from you, you haven't even heard bad words etc. Only that a shady man "promised" you to get a nice place. "Oh i'm idiot enough to believe in shady people over here and there with no proof and i can ultra-kill people for no reason at all. Deal." (And only explanation from his boss was he didn't like the view of it... Yeah.)

What i imagine is evil=has low or no attachments to morality. Good=has a high morality.

What developers do is evil=blowing up elemantary schools just for being evil. I'm sure he/she will drink their blood too.

Good=Stupid white knight in armor, accepts every single thing because people demand it.

What i meant was in some situations paragon should lead to bad stuff and renegade should lead to good stuff.

If France could invade Germany in 1936 because of Rhine problem(which i'm sure is evil/renegade according to developers) it could lead to something better. Oh and on the opposide side Mr Chamberlain tried to reason with Mr. Hitler, accepted a few demands while crossing the line at Poland but he was too naive and too late.(Yeah total paragon since he's reasonable even with the evil :P)

"The way to Hell is paved with good intentions."  anyway. That's what i want.

Which would be interesting, imo.

But they aren't going to last very long though since they have small numbers.

Damn I just went into the theaters since my cousins invited me to watch "Disney's tomorrowland" yeah the film was for kids, although critics said that it is a box office miss I still enjoyed it to be honest. Film had a message in it. Anyway I spent 80% wondering to myself while watching that film... IS THAT THESSIA? HAHAHA

Mass Effect 4 should have a big arse city where we can explore that big arse city

Given that Casey Hudson hasn't worked for Bioware in months and now works for Microsoft, I feel like the title needs to be changed. LOL

Oh i forgot to add either make keyboard/mouse controls viable just like every other single Bioware game before DA:I or simply tell us that "Gamepads are really needed" so i'll get it on PS4.

Big places are nice but do not fill them with "Collect herbs", "Random NPC fighting each other", "Fast respawn" etc MMO stuff. At worst leave them empty so we can get a better FPS.

I don't want to fall for that again.

Even though I don't (can't) use a computer for gaming due to space issues, that was easily the most irritating thing about DAI: Having to stop every two minutes to deal with more mobs I'd already killed and had respawned when I wasn't looking.

Seriously, when I heard 'open world,' I was expecting something a little closer to Skyrim when it came to enemy encounters, i.e: Less frequent than what we got.

Yet another minor but important thing. Should be easy enough.

Since English isn't my native language i prefer to play with subtitles provided in games.

Please make people we talk to have no names until "name exchange" happened.

How the hell someone knows "Hmm this girl totally looks like having Miranda as name" before meeting.

Instead of this pattern:

Alistair: Good to meet you. I'm Alistair.

Use this one:

Human Male/Blond/Guy/x : Good to meet you. I'm Alistair.

After meeting switch Male/Blond/Guy/x to Alistair of course.

With an option of turning off name plate over NPCs and minimap pointing place/NPC directly  it'll be even better.

So instead of finding Aria at the exact coordinates we got, we could search for Afterlife's location(Maybe by asking someone?) and try to find an Asari, looking "worthy/wealthy". And instead of talking a few lines then hearing "Aria: I am Aria" it can be "Asari : I am Aria" etc.

These two can enhance Role playing really a lot.

But as i said option, don't force stuff upon people :)

I think that's more of a Dragon Age problem with the name plates, but still a good point.

Couldn't find a better word.

When you target a friendly or neutral NPC, you can see his/her name automatically, that thinga :)

Go nuts. Mass Effect was about the Milky Way Galaxy. The races in there, the reapers, its conflicts, stories, exploring it. Go to another galaxy. Maybe Andromeda? The presence of eezo there and the mass effect technology would be the tie-in.

You sir can see the future :P

This thread is proof positive that Bioware doesn't pay much attention to its own forums.

Casey Hudson left Bioware almost a year ago (August of 2014) and he is now employed as a creative director at Microsoft.

This thread is 209 pages of stuff no one at Bioware is reading.

Actually they do visit their own forums but when they do it's usually in their own time. Jos for instance occasionly posts on the twitter thread.

So whether he's interested in our ideas or not, he can't really do anything with them anymore  ;)

Speaking of the Mako, anybody at Bioware ever play Spintires? Big lumbering vehicles and navigating muddy terrain can be pretty fun, it's almost tactical in that game.

I don't want to be picky, but everytime I enter these forums and see the name of this topic it just grinds my gears...

Casey Hudson no longer works for BioWare, so a moderator should change the name of the damn topic.

Casey Hudson left Bioware in August of 2014. He now works for Microsoft.

Hence the title of this thread is unintentionally funny because if Casey ever cared about your Mass Effect suggestions, he certainly doesn't now and hasn't for close to a year.

That Bioware never edited or locked this thread but still has it stickied to the front page, even though Casey Hudson now works for a competitor, is also funny because it shows how much attention the company actually pays to this thread or forum.

This is the thread where your suggestions go to die. No one is listening.
