sorry SpeshMeh, don't how to separate my comment from the quote, i wrote the last two lines in the above post.
No worries i'm not good with posting either, hence the massive post.
As for Kai Leng i agree but ME characters have survived ridiculous things in the past ie:
-Garrus taking a rocket to the face
-Shepard being remade after his ship being destroyed with him in it,
-Zaeed surviving being shot in the face from close range.
As the bad ass merc says "Rage is a hell of anesthetic"

Regarding the Paragon/Renegade Interrupt thing you used for ME2 & ME3, have both of them appear on the screen at the same time in ME4, giving the player the choice to choose one. (or to ignore both if the player wishes...)
Definate must. Please use this.

No! NO! A thousand times NO! No more idiotic cyber ninja crap!!!!!
Sorry.
You are of course entitled to your opinion, but Kai Leng was IMO such a horrible cliché god awful character, that I cringed each time I had to deal with him in ME3.

Make the timeline after me3 please. Make the story however you want it, just make it interesting like the other ones please. I don't really care if we can import our character though. Make new powers, definitely include multiplayer and new maps, maybe you can include me3 multiplayer maps as well? Here's an idea for the single player one, put it 50,000 years later lol. Make new species? Younger ones evolving I guess?
Totally agree with this. I never buy prequels.

I think one of the problems people got with swords is that they look far to "normal" and old fashioned. Saying it was razorthin and made of a superstrong material that might be hardened by masseffect fields and stuff, monomolecularblades that dont look liek medival blades.. Then people might accept them mroe as a stealth assasin and melee ranged weapon. Curring through armor like it was tissuepaper.

^ This. Kai Leng was the worst part of me3. That being said, I also cringed in me2 when I saw Kasumi do a matrix-style flip onto a dropship during her loyalty missions. This ninja stuff is ridiculous. Omniblades? sure. But swords? Really?
So... Kai leng isnt popular...
Just kidding. I understand where you come from. The whole cyber ninja idea wasnt very fitting for this game and im glad i'm not the only one that thought Kasumi's arial acrobatics onto a dropship as a bit OTT i also thought the whole cloaking outfit a bit of a cop-out. Being invisible took all the skill out of the infiltration in her loyalty mission.
But i digress...
I wasn't fully keen on Kai Leng as i was posting the inital draft but for me even though he was a one-dimensional character and a bit cliche he did fulfill the role of a bad guy.
He proactively got in the way of Shepards objectives, was able to overpower shepard in some instances (even if a drop ship was required and WHY THANE! WHYYYYYYYYY!
Still I have taken Kai Leng off my post as i agree it wouldnt be a popular choice. Just wanted to explain my reason for choosing him.
Thanks for the responses as i am trying to take on board what you guys said. The comments are appreciated

1- Depending on the state of the galaxy when you emerge... the reapers could be gone.. yet everyone is now way more advanced than you are.. even your own species...
2 - Stepping out to the galaxy you find all life is now connected to machines and you and the other survivors are the only ones not effected.. maybe seen as a threat... would you accept it and join them or fight for your humanity?
3 - Emerging you find the reapers are still in the galaxy.. yet life goes on... imagine walking through the rebuilt cities.. traveling through the mass relays.. all the while seeing reapers watching over you.. guarding cities..planets.. protecting the galaxy.. or are they?
4 - waking up to find all the races who fought wiped out... the citadel rebuilt and occupied by yahg and other evolved species like the pyjacks... you are now an endangered species.. remembered only through stories.. humanity has already earned its place.. but will you take it?
Just a few ideas to continue from ending abc+d... i just hope if were having a new character.. we can set his personality.. because no matter if you were pargon or renegade or anything inbetween.. shepard was always the same default personality... id love the choice anytime during the game or mission to select a mood for my character.. which others would react to... it would put an interesting spin on conversations... letting people know if your angry or sad... without punching anyone or saying it...

The factions are already set up.... you can choose to take a paragon route or renegade.
Currency is always a **** to farm in mmorpg's so i was thinking instead of farming for money it should just come in daily from some sort of imployment system. Imployment ranging from the common soldier, assassin all the way up to spectre. The higher your paragon or renegade reputation the higher the imployment rank you can apply for and income gets higher as your job gets more prestigious.
PvP is important part of multiplayer so have the renegade jobs contradict the paragon jobs. eg: paragons have missions to protect a witness, renegades have to assassinate the witness. PvP will be extremely hard to balance tho so i guess classes/skills should be made up with some sort of rock/paper/scissors system. theres really no other way to balance all the adepts and vanguards. A rock/paper/scissors approach will probably promote more team play anyways.
The timeline is alittle tricky as to find some sort of common enemy to face. I guess the mass effect mmorpg would have to be after the reapers are destroyed and the common enemy would have to be a new breed or some sort. a return to leviathan dominance maybe?? or maybe even another krogan rebelions.
^juss some thoughts........ although i put alittle too much thought into that than i care to admit.
all this would be my mass effect 4 wet dream tho

It has to be a mmorpg for the next one. Just like the warcraft trilogy they made a killing when WoW came out. Cause all the fans transfer over.
MMORPG would be a good way for EA and Bioware to make money on it, but would lose a ton of fans in the process.
It would be near impossible for the universe to be influenced by a single players choices which has been the main ethos of the series to date. Also MMORPG's wouldnt translate to consoles. If It did go down that route however I'd take a look at Guild Wars 2 for an example of a great MMORPG.
But the PvP would be the next step in terms of an online multiplayer. On top of horde mode and adding a general multiplayer setup how about having special 6 on 6 scenario battles. You get a certain amount of points to add skills and power certain traits to your character and then put them in a special combat maps complete with stories and cut scenes. Turian team vs Krogan team or Human team vs Turian. People wanted to see the Krogan rebellions, the Contact War and the Batarian Confllicts multiplayer would be the ideal place to put them.

The galactic community was finally able to fix both the Mass Relays and the Citadel, and is beggining to reorganize itself. Welcoming the ideals of a real united galaxy, the Citadel Council now is composed by members of every Citadel race (including Volus, Hanar, Elcor...). As a diplomatic effort, the remaining Batarians, left from the destroyed Hegemony were accepted on the Citadel once again (only those without criminal history) and, depending on your actions in the original trilogy, even the Krogans receive a seat on the Council (only if Wrex survived, and only if they were cured)
But not everything is so great. At the same time the Citadel races rebuilt, so did the Terminus System, taking the opportunity and releasing numerous attacks on the Traverse, and even on Citadel Space. Most believe their lider is the well known Aria T'Loak, but others think there is someone else behind commanding that criminal scum.
You are a Human Spectre, one of the many that joined the Council's elite organization ever since Shepard became the first. Your role is to create a team, take back what the Terminus Fleet conquered and ultimately start a war against them.
Squadmate ideas:
Following the ideal of a Council formed by all races, your team would have all kinds of members, here are some ideas:
-A Quarian and A Geth that know each other as friends
-A Volus that wouldn't be able to fight, but would be able to get special upgrades, equipment and information
-An Elcor "walking tank"; He would be unable to take cover and it's mobility would be limited, but his firepower would be devastating and could even provide cover with his own body
-An Honorable Batarian, fight to prove his race, despite the dark past, is not composed of criminals and close-minded fighters
-A Krogan named Urdnot Shepard. He is a relative of either Wrex or Grunt and was named in honor of the greatest hero of all time (youdontsay)
-A Hanar (Enkindle this, criminal scum!)
-A Drell, one of the few tens that survived both the war and illness (could even be the last one)

The current consols arnt strong enough to let Bioware develop a game that takes every choice of the trilogy, in order to show us (the player) how different each game is. Im not talking about minor changes, but huge changes, like which future you gave the galaxy(the ending), how the different races have changed and other stuff like that.
It would be alot of work for Bioware regarding what story they wanna tell and then reflect it on the different choices every player has taken. Bioware also needs to think outside the box, like one player might wanna shot some random bystanders or some importent NPC, because they can.

Definately not just for processing all the different possibilities and actions your characters have and might take but also to boost the quality of the environments, bigger maps, better character models, etc. Good shout on needing to be on the next gen console.
