No! NO! A thousand times NO! No more idiotic cyber ninja crap!!!!!

Sorry.

You are of course entitled to your opinion, but Kai Leng was IMO such a horrible cliché god awful character, that I cringed each time I had to deal with him in ME3.

^ This. Kai Leng was the worst part of me3. That being said, I also cringed in me2 when I saw Kasumi do a matrix-style flip onto a dropship during her loyalty missions. This ninja stuff is ridiculous. Omniblades? sure. But swords? Really?

Kai Leng, at least, is not as ****ing bad as Diana Allers...

one thing i hope they fix is the ability backup dlc on ps3 to usb hard drive. it's not fun having to redownload that everytime the ps3 breaks.

especially allow non playstation plus gamers to be able to backup save games (sony says it's the developer that decides if your save games are trapped on your ps3 or not)

if you are going to go to the trouble of checking online passes everytime the game loads, add the ability to sychonize save games across platforms Example: start a game on ps3 and then continue it on pc or xbox and vise versa(i'd be surprised if the save files are not all in the same format, and the n7HQ has shown you can recieve data from all the platforms)

No prequels, no MMO, no pure FPS/action/action-adventure game.

I really want another ME RPG trilogy, set AFTER ME3 and with a new hero we can customize like Shep and transfer throughout 3 games.

Plz Bioware!

I'm pretty much in agreement with this guy.  Seems like everyone goes and makes a prequel when a trilogy is finished.  Halo did it.  Gears of War did it.  Movies are doing it a lot these days.  I have an idea.  Why not start with the prequel instead?  I say no prequels.  You're stuck in a position where you know the ending or at least have a very good guess what's going to happen before you even buy it.

On the game mechanics.  I don't like MMOs, and while I'm content with FPS games, I favor third person shooters.  I'd say don't get too ambitious with toying with the game in that respect.  Just look at what Capcom's been doing with Resident Evil.  Will there ever be a good RE game again?  Ever since 4 the fanbase has been divided into two categories and the fans of the originals have been left in the dust, and fans the newer style have been getting crap work lately.  Same thing with Square-Enix and how they've been handling the Final Fantasy series.  It would be a real shame to see Mass Effect follow that path.

I liked the gameplay mechanics improved from 2 to 3 and things done like that in good taste are fine by me, but I'd suggest to not to throw the whole thing out and make something completely different.

Lastly choice.  Choice is possibly the biggest thing that has defined Mass Effect.  I'd hate to see that sidelined into a linear walk and shoot thing like almost literally any other game out there.

Choice is what makes this game different. Bring Drew Karpyshyn as lead story writer. Casey stay 1000 feet away from story writing team.

From what I've heard, Shepard and crew won't even be in it. Also EA is still here. So my idea for a new Mass Effect game is not to make a new Mass Effect game.

The mass effect universe doesn't need to leave door open... New thigns can happen without any open door or Airlocks policy. Just make a new story, plenty of opportunities, plenty of megalomaniacs.

Im hoping we get control as the main ending and the Leviathans attack... The Shepard AI tries to defend the galaxy but the Leviathans have been stocking up and preparing for this war for a billion years... several leviathan generations.
Now it's up to the galaxy to fend for themselves, shepard might be left for an "advisory" role on the citadel servers... Similar to EDI. Decrypting intel, and so on.

The reaper forces might have been enough to put a dent into the Leviathan warmachine giving the rest of the galaxy a fighting chance, if they work together.

Make a prequel, that's all i ask for, RPG prequel. I love ME3, but there are so many variables after the endings, it's just easier to explore story backwards than forward.

I would also love to be able to choose races for my character. I know you guys probably won't make a 100% RPG like you used to do, but character creation choices are really important.

To the people above who say don't make a new ME game. The company is in the same bind no matter what they do. It's EA. The game is going to have multi-player. It's going to go more action with RPG elements. I hate that idea.

I think if I were Bioware, I'd avoid making another triology. I'd move forward with single stories with definitive endings in the ME universe. Don't even leave the door cracked open for a sequel. Closed ending. The stories are more localized. No save game imports. When you have too many variables it gets too difficult especially under the time gun they'll have.

Having single stories from different perspectives is an interesting idea.
Could potentially have these stories influence each game regardless of the order of their release ie. you play the first story then carry its consequences into the second and then want to go back to see how your actions in the second story has affected the first.

on a side note (totally random) I hope they add rainy environments to the game again... Pragia was one of the only parts in the entire series where they did that but it was one of the most memorable settings for me. I get that garden worlds are rare and all but.... it was still pretty awesome.

Full co-op campaign would be awesome. If BioWare does the 4-Player MP again some linear missions would be fun as well. Horde mode is ok but variety is a good thing.

Co-Op campaign... now theres an idea I would love to see happen  ;):wizard::o

I think something like Praetor that Arcian is developing in the fan section would make a great sequal for ME, we dont need another big threat like the reapers or adventure in some other galaxy.

It could be games with intrique, schemes and betrayal amids galactic politics and war, among new players and species, in a futuristic setting, sort of like MGS(maybe some sneaking sections thrown in to change the pace of action) in future world with all the tough choices of ME games. That would make for a great ME game or trilogy.

Ok i know that there will be no Shepard in mass effect 4 so the character in me4 should have the same customizable settings . the romance interest should be the same .
let at least one love interest live with the game hero . i am looking forward to seeing the game BEFORE I BUY IT.

I have played me1 every seance it first came out .

as far as making the game a multiplayer game i haven't played me3 multiplayer i just do not like it .

And remove Mac Walters as lead writer. He can still write characters, just keep the plot out of his hands.

Tell Casey to fix the ending of Mass Effect 3 and than think about working on a Mass Effect 4!

I think a prequel would be the only way to do it. The forums will inevitably flame the hell out of whatever ME3 ending is considered to be canon; whereas some fleshing out of the lore surrounding the first contact war, and humanity's early hours as newfound members of an intergalactic community, would leave a decent amount of room for creativity whilst potentially dropping in aspects of the current trilogy.

Do what you feel, but don't allow commercial pressure to undermine creative output.

How to bring back someone who doesn't give a s*** about Mass Effect universe anymore?

On the topic, More rpg and less Space magic and of course... a sequel.

The only way ME4 can evoke a pre-order from me especially if its going to be another trilogy is if I see the names Joseph Michael Straczynski, or Joss Whedon or both on it, because they understand continuity in a series and how to end a series, our Payoff for our patronage.

Casey Hudson's vision and direction for ME3 as well as Bioware's stance towards depressing games = No Pre-Orders, YouTube it first, Check BSN and see what's really in the game THEN decide if its worth my time and money.

Agreed, I believe Casey Hudson has no feeling towards the Mass Effect universe at all. He sees it as merely his job. There's no motherly feeling to be seen, or felt in his interviews. This lack of attachment makes him (probably) less knowledgeable on the universe and its themes, and therefore more capable of making the wrong choices.
