This week's multiplayer balance changes are now live. Details can be found here.

As a heads up, we are looking at balance changes to the Piranha and Carnifex for next week. We feel the Piranha is still too dominant of a weapon even with the recent balance changes and needs further adjustment. Although we haven't touched the Carnifex since ship, we feel it is obscuring too many other weapons in its class and needs some small adjustments as well.

Pants balance changes :/

Seriously though @Eric how much time do you and your team spend deciding these changes? I could honestly come up with better more balanced changes on my own in a few hours. Not a week.

With respect: Is all you do run around writing posts that criticizes the work of others?

Eric's done us some work, be grateful for the fact that he's doing this weekly, compared to the seasonly (if ever balanced) changes that other franchises do. As for this week, he's done a good job, I wouldn't go as far as to say that he's taken the Uncommon snipers and Locust out of the "casual" weapon pile, but it's nice to see they're being upped, frankly I'd be a little miffed if they ended up more powerful than the less common weapons, so gently does it works good.

Nice work Eric, thanks for all the work you're doing every week which you are consistently criticized for.

Thanks, but to be clear we have a whole team that looks at balance changes. I have the (sometimes) unfortunate responsibility of bearing bad news.

I've posted a preview of the changes we're thinking about here.
