This feedback is pretty overwhelming so far that the damage isn't worth mentioning, I'm predicting a damage buff next week balance changes if the feedback continues like this.

I'll stick to my harrier X then...

What about the accuracy? I never used it but I've been hearing it is terribly inaccurate.

Put it on a GI.

Just tested it myself. It's like it's trying to be the middle ground between the mattock and harrier but failed miserably. I'll stick to my harrier x as well.

It's not bad on a T.Soldier, though. I just used level 1 on Silver and, with marksman active, I was taking down enemies in one burst. I call that good enough for a rare gun.

I imagined it would be a halfway house between the mattock and the harrier. Which, considering the weapons respective rarity, sounded about right.
Guessing this isn't the case? Is it just the damage that lets the gun down?

It is only good on a TSoldier, as long as you rake scope and stab mods. It's heavy, kicks worse then the Saber, does junk for damage, and sprays all over the place.

Nothing new. If they didn't buff it significantly from its SP counterpart it's going to be an awful gun.
It has such a slow re-fire time that even though each bullet does 130, about the same as the Mattock, it still has the same DPS as the Avenger. It's bad.
Cons:
Same DPS as Avenger, but is a rare
Smaller magazine, and smaller capacity than the Avenger
Insane recoil, same as the Saber, but 3 round burst makes it harder to stay on target
Heavier than the Saber and is tied for second heaviest AR
Pros:
I can't think of any

Too heavy
Too much Recoil
Painfully slow Rate of Fire
The gun just sucks

I didn't mind it in SP, thought it needed a damage and RoF boost, but thats it.

Use it on a Destroyer and it needs Stabilzing mods/amps.
Warp or AP ammo
I posted my results against Cerberus Gold on the Argus damage thread

Weight is 2.0-1.4 (Assuming 1.4 as that was what it was in SP) so it's not THAT heavy, still lighter than the Typhoon, same weight as Particle Rifle GPS, etc.
Damage is good, while it's DPS is "Lower" than the Avenger's, on paper (no test yet) it could knock a Gold Centorian down to 1/3rd of it's HP with a SINGLE burst on a TS. Turrian Solider buffs it's accuracy/recoil enough to SNIPER with the thing (fact: Tried it). Even without amps/active powers it can easily do over 1.8K damage a burst (Head Shots) - that more than mooks have in HP on Gold.
Maybe not epic, but still a solid weapon it may seem.

When shooting from cover, it hepls the stability and accuracy quite a bit. However, you still need some sort of stability mod to make it shoot straight. It only does decent damage if you are going for headshots.
I tried it first on a Drell Adept. Rough.
Then I tried it on a Turian Soldier, then Destroyer with better results. I still used a Stability Amp to help with the recoil. It becomes a decent 3 shot sniper rifle, like what the Incisor should have been.
I'll probably not pick it up again though.

It's fine against basic enemies, but anything larger will give you trouble... which is sad, considering what the other weapons in it's weight range are capable of.
The stability mod is required if you want to be effective while firing out of cover. If there's one good thing I can say about the Argus it's that I like how consistently it staggers enemies.

It needs to have an accuracy increase IMO. It just feels so clunky and most of your shots miss.

I quite enjoyed the "feel" of the weapon in single player, and at level X, it (appeared) to slaughter everything (which was probably the illusion created by having a level 60 character with AP ammo).
Also, I roleplay with the guns. In ME2 my canon rocked a Mattock. Thus, the Argus seemed like a new version of a gun I love. I didn't even mind the minimal damage and ****** poor accuracy. I loved it for it's personality.

It is pretty bad. It really benefits a lot from the scope. Not sure how manageable the recoil is, as I've so far only used it with Turians. The gun needs some work. The damage per bullet/burst is decent, but it's slow, inaccurate and kind of heavy. Way too many weaknesses.jfruelas521 wrote...
