Not only GPS, also another weapons that I don't want to mention.
Also, guys, you are not alone, http://social.biowar.../index/14165770 I am with all of you in this fight.
I'm not a fan of pirahna, for me there is not any other shotgun than claymore, but I think this is not justice.

Yes, you're trolling. What's your point?

If they nerf the ROF, they need to increase the capacity of each clip.
I can't really see them nerfing the accuracy...it's about as accurate as a leaky balloon.

This is why we have four distinct levels of difficulty. If you feel you're not very good with weapon-based classes - even if they're generally well balanced with other classes - play on a lower difficulty when using those classes. Or are you saying that weapons feel inadequate even on Bronze?
Nah, I do Silver pretty much exclusively unless I'm playing with folks I know. Even for me Bronze is too easy for it to be very much fun. I feel like I've found a gameplay that suits me for ALMOST every class (the Vorcha still elude me) so that I can do reasonably well in Silver. But I never did well with a shotty Infiltrator until the Piranha came out. My aim with shotguns is notoriously bad, but the Piranha's rapid-fire is more forgiving, and plus you have to be right on top of them to do max damage anyway (great to do when cloaked). What a great in-your-face weapon that is. I really hope they don't nerf it too badly. Even at point-blank range it still takes 3-4 hits on a Cannibal to take it down. Maybe they'll just disallow a choke on it or something.

If we were going for a balanced game here: If a caster weapon is good on weapon classes, Expect nerfs.
Caster weapons being bad is a game design choice, because lightness implies weakness.
(As opposed to rarity, which just implies that if it is light, it wont be weak because of this. Judging by the current numbers.)

Seriously, if we could stop the nerf train that would be awesome. The graveyard started running out of room around when the Typhoon bit it, let's not make things worse by adding two perfectly fine guns to the charnel house.

Best in terms of theoretical DPS, which it can easily achieve against Atlases, Brutes and clustered spawns.
If that's not important to you (or is balanced out by other factors), that's your prerogative.
Personally I don't really care about the Piranha one way or the other, I find it terribly boring to use.

Whose shots go through targets 50% of the times when off host with bad ping.
It's a strong gun, but way too influenced by lag, as the graal.
Reegar is still the best shotgun for me, hands down.
Claymore/Wraith if you want range.

Well.... The thing is... The weight gimmick just kinda is the biggest flaw of the game balance.

Except that being heavy doesn't mean being awesome. The javelin has about the same sustained dps as a phaeston.

The Carnifex was always my go to pistol, far lighter than I admit it should be, I find it preferable to the heavy Paladin VI I've got which only does slightly more damage than the Carnifex for half the clip.
You don't even need to put ULM on it on many builds to get 200% with a ULMed SMG. Balancing has never been too hard to stomach. They'll do what's right with the Carnifex.
The party (may) be over, but I might still use it despite what happens. Still, on the bright side, if it is a significant nerf, it'll encourage us to use other pistols.
Same goes for the Piranha. Challenge and variety over ease!
I'm looking forward to seeing the N7 Eagle changes too. =) I'm a Rank III member of the misery loves company club!
