So Bruce Wane has dropped the mantle of Batman.

A police officer (Gordon Levitt's Robin) takes the mantle.
I am thinking of doing the first story of Robin's exploits as the New Batman.

Here, he employs a different style. Focusing on detective work, looking for clues, and evidence.
Robin does get into the odd fist fight, and have some Batman esque high octane speed chases, but Robin must be distinct from Bruce Wane.


So he is facing his first villain (which can't be Joker, Raza Ghoul, Bane, Scarecrow or any other villain that has appeared in a Christopher Nolan film).

Alfred is teaching Robin what it takes to be Batman.

No need for an origin story. That was handled in Batman The Dark Knight Rises.

How would you make Gordon Levitt's Batman different yet interesting?
What villain would you like to see Gordon Levitt's Batman face?
How would I approach that villain to make them realistic in a Nolanesque fashion.
