Mass Effect is not in any of their leagues...
They are TV shows...this is a Video Game...I can understand the confusion since they are both viewed on a screen of one kind or another...

I'm sorry, but Mass Effect's universe is far more well thought out and consistent than Doctor Who's. Whether it's better in general is another matter, but Mass Effect's worldbuilding is stunning.

EDIT: I also have to put in another candidate - I vote the Cultureverse.

I can honestly say ME got some of its inspiration from Babylon 5.

1) Ancient species
2) All newer races coming together to stop Ancient race
3) Humans are key to winning the final battle


Yea Babylon 5 was my favorite sci fi series and ME3 is my favorite game title.

I see a lot Star Trek Voyager Borg in Mass Effect, especially them Geth. Mass Relay are really Stargates, mahahaha. That's my 2 cents, before the moderators pull this form from ME 'Multiplayer' form. Yeah.

And I don't know what Dr. Who or Babylon 5 is.
