Dragon Age 2 Exalted March was cancelled back in March of this year. It was sad that it happened and by looking at the title on the next game it looks like a continuation of the theme.

How will Bioware fill the gap between the expansion and DA3?

Will we get an online comic series to cover the events or fully explain ingame what has transpired?

First I've heard of it, hopefully it already had a good amount of content... that is just getting assimilated into DA3.

I actually kind of upset by it, I'm damn sure Bioware was going to fix their problems. Oh well.

I'm pretty sure they decided to just take most of that material and make DA3 out of it. I could swear one of them said something much to that effect in an interview at the time.

I think it'll just get mentioned in the opening cinematic, and maybe elaborated on in dialog throughout the game.

I mean, this is just a guess here, but all the relevant information would probably be, "There was an exalted march on Kirkwall. It resulted in this:"

They've said they may be using some of the plots from the expansion in DA3.

But it will undoubtedly be divorced from the original context (since Hawke won't be the protagonist).

I'll always be disappointed for not getting the final chapter to Hawke's story and the resolution I expect the expansion would have provided.

This does raise the worry that DA3 will be of expansion quality and length... but... *stomps down worry* Optimism! I guess.
