Is it possible to make a converter which converts toolset adventures to the PS3 or Xbox360?

I figured it would be easier if Bioware authorized only material could be converted.

So let's say a site for example, Neverwitner vault has a modules section under downloads for Dragon Age: Origins, the modules there could have information in the description letting us know it has Bioware authorized content only in the module so nothing could go wrong in converting.

Sure it would limit out hak, mods, etc... that aren't authorized by Bioware (assuming they allow things aside from their own content), but it's better than nothing and it could expand the console life of the game a lot more as well.

It could work like this, I download it onto my computer, transfer the file over to my console hard drive via USB or E-Mail, upload the file onto the hard drive, find the converter (which converts what needs to be converted such as encryptions/codes/files/etc...) and have it convert the file.  After conversion the module could be placed automatically in a seperate section on the console's hard drive called User Created modules.  And we can access them in game on the main menu under the same section (maybe the main menu could be updated in a patch for the console versions).

:wizard:I believe this is very possible, I feel it just needs community support.  So instead of being negative try to see the positive side.  I would prefer a Bioware employee to answer these questions and discuss this idea on this topic however.

No, not any time in foreseeable future.

It doesn't need community support, and it's not a question of Bioware authorising anything.

It needs Sony and Microsoft authentication and testing. They don't let any content on their machines that hasn't been thoroughly examined and tested. And that's actually rather expensive.

Thanks for the insight, I did not know that Sony and Xbox needs to authorize it, I think maybe they should work out a deal with Bioware to have THEIR content be able to be converted no 3rd parties content. If they allow Bioware to do that I wouldn't see the problem.
