Seriously though, nerfers really need to actually buff the weapons we don't use to make them effective. They're nerfing all the good and actually decent guns that I use on my gold character builds. This game is starting to irritate me rather than entertain me.

Weren't the first damages enough for you people? It's not even that great of a weapon anymore. It's a good one, but that's how it SHOULD be. One more nerf (excluding weight increase) will just kill the damn thing.

I hold BioWare up as my favorite developer in North America (2nd internationally, only to Kojipro), but even I find extreme fault in all of this.

Is the piranha OP on the GI/destroyer? yes. Is it really possible to balance it without making it worthless to other classes without a patch? no.

They need to change the accuracy boosting mechanic of HM and DM for shotties. Accuracy bonuses are what make the piranha OP.

yeah but at the end of the day it's not about game mechanics. its about $$. they need you to put away the old DLC weapons to make way for the new ones that will purposely be OP. Once people realize they are OP they will spend real money on packs to buy them

Frankly, I don't see how it's too powerful considering how wide the spread is on the gun. Try shooting something 20m away on anything that is not a Geth or N7 Destroyer. You'll miss 9/10 of your pellets.

Exactly. I tried using the piranha on a turian soldier before and jeez, without marksman, i couldn't hit anything thats not point blank range (exaggeration for effect) Don't nerf it like the Krysae....
