"We're taking all the *good* stuff and taking it into the next level"
"This time we are trying to focus on (horror as) *entertainment*... and something that is more "all-encompassing""
"stress-free for the player... something that was intuitive and *easy* for them to use... we took a look at all the recent games and tried to follow... how *action*-shooters are *trending*... and how we can incorporate that in Resident Evil 6"
"All new actions that are added to the game!"
"fans wanted to see zombies return, especially as the game has evolved and gotten *better*... we wanted to do something *different* with them... these are not the type of zombies we had in previous games, but they *are still* zombies"
Where have I heard similar rhetoric before?
Way to go, game-makers, you have just no idea what makes quality and a game "better" or "worse", you just know how to ride the wave of "trends". This *will* bring long-term losses, and lots of em.
