I see a lot of people talking about "cameo's" for characters, the warden, etc.

Does anyone else think that perhaps , with the title of the game and the way the story left off with both DA:O/DAII that they might be merging both the characters from DA:O and DAII?

I mean both the Warden and Hawke just "disppeared" neither of them died.

It makes perfect logical sense that with Party 3 of the saga that they bring both of them together, and perhaps the choices we made in both games play an impact in regards to how the games play out.

Both the Warden's and Hawke's stories aren't finished yet, and with the title of the game it makes sense that they could both end up being a vital part of the storyline an dperhaps we get to pick whom to play as? The warden (which you could carry over from DA:O, or make a new one) or Hawke from DA:II (which carries over the choice to made, to side with the mages or templars).

They could have many of the same companions back from both games, Morrigan, lelianna, Varric, Oghren, Alistair, Sten, etc and new ones as well where it makes sense for hte storyline.


I'm not sure why everyone wants/assumes it will be a "new" character/story, I mean the ending of DAII basically says they need the warden or Hawke back to fight the upcoming war, and the title implies what the war is. You could have the Warden on one side and Hawke on the other. I mean think about that, each game presenting each character to us and then we haev to play one against the other, that'd be awesome.

I hope so. I'd love to see elements of Origins brought back while keeping certain ones from 2. The Warden and Hawkes stories aren't finished yeah, so this is a good opportunity to finally let us know what has became of them. But we will have to play as a new character, that has been stated.

Oh dear... my Hawke, my Warden AND my DA3 protagonist all want Anders.

The Warden won't be the PC for DA3, confirmed over a year ago.

Since DA3:I isn't supposed to be the last one, it seems less likely that they'll try to tie up all loose ends this time (and I would prefer it if they didn't).
