how would you do it? or, do you think they dont need to?
personally, id love to see one or two more classes. that way, each class could become more focused on specific roles, then be more interesting when they took specializations
i'd love to see rogues become more about crowd control and spike damage and less about being the ultimate damage dealer.
then, when the specialize, the bard becomes able to buff companions, the assassin gets the best spike damage, and maybe even a type of rogue that heals and revives (like SWTOR smuggler)
warriors handle tanking and aggro- the reaver gets dps, the templar drains magic across the battlefield (and big resist magic), and maybe a knight (or in terms of orlais, chevalier) is an upgraded tank
mage is nuke damage and dps- blood magic gets crowd control, spirit healer gets healing, and maybe a golem master gets a pet tank
add a skirmisher class for dps and off tanking- rangers use bows to debuff.taunt and swords for dps, ash warrior gets a dps pet (mabari) and a dualist becomes a stronger off-tank
as i understand it, there is no priest class because diety blessing does not exist...this could be integrated into the game and you could have a dedicated healing class--- elves could also have nature magic, humans maybe holy powers, and dwarves could have some sort of ability to call on the essence of the paragons
anyways, just excited about the game and bored. post your ideas if youd like
if you were to add new classes....

what about this. assassin
a soldier enhanced with cybernetic parts to make him a expert in close combat, I mean he attack with melee attacks, their powers are based on different styles of punchs or kicks or even combinations, I don´t know if make this the main power of the class (teleport) the power don´t hurt the enemy, it just leave you behind the enemy to start your attack.
also you can add powers like flash grenades so your enemies don´t see you for a moment and you kill them, I don´t think this class is good against enemies that can insta-kill you, only if you use weapons or add some powers that give you a chance against them, this class also have enemies with a medium-high shields (someting like 800-900 shield) great movility, your melee attacks are stronger than a krogan or N7 shadow or the other N7 slayer...and a lot more quick...
like I said, your powers can be teleport, flash grenades, flying kicks, or attacks to critical areas of the enemy body, also touch some points to immobilize enemies and then execute them, area attack to take down a lot of humanoid enemies, punch to the ground like nova to damage a lot of enemies or bosses without die trying it, your melee attacks can bi kung fu kicks, any martial art punch.

No classes.
More specializations. It really is the way to go because it diversifies the classes further.

I'd just prefer combo-classes or open classes.
I would love to play as an "non-arcane" mage warrior. Why wouldn't an apostate try to use a melee weapons, just to be fit and ready to fend opponents off without showing that they are a mage?
I loved dual wield warrior in DA:O
But mostly because the Warden would be unique with this style since the other warriors in the party either use SS or two handed.
Would love a martial combat rogue, something like the assassin from Diablo 2, setting traps, cloaking using small melee weaopons in a little more calculated way than that of DA2's "chopchopchop"

I can't think of a class that wouldn't be better used as a specialization, personally the idea of a Dwarf calling on the Paragons or clerics being able to have healing or blessings, mostly go against world lore I believe. But I am in favor of specializations that matter and I am looking forward to it

I think the triumvirate is fine, no need to veer off towards DnD just because.
