On gold, regardless of n7 rank or character level, I always play at least one match with them. If they die every 10 seconds or score 10x less than everyone else, I kick them from the next game. N7 and character level don't really tell you anything.

yea...play with friends from the start...but for me...i didnt have any problems...no one kicked me and i am skilled fps player so..no problem...even that mass effect is over the shoulder shooter talkin about MP now

Maybe i am the only one offended by it, because i am the only one targeted by the underlying question.

I was on topic as long as there was no insult toward me, if you really want to find a troll this time, maybe you should look at the one who asked this question, maybe you should ask the offender, instead of looking at the offended.

Do i respect KalilKareem ? Hell No, i am not respecting someone who asked me if i shared some ideological view with a genocidal dictator, will i insult him or her for that, no, because i am not going as low as him/her.

Trying to put this topic back on track - kicking a Level 1 from Bronze is ridiculous. The reason for bronze is to ensure that everyone gets the change to level up without being put under any undue pressure to do so. Personally, I've never been booted from a bronze game, but I have been booted from a Gold game; by virtue of the fact that my level 5 Vanguard was continuously getting killed and had to be revived by the other players.

As regards getting booted from a Silver, Gold or Platinum game, I'm of the opinion that if a person enters a Silver, Gold or Platinum game, then kudos to him/her. They're testing their limits - seeing how they get on, irrespective of the level their character's at. Give them a chance to prove themselves. If it works out, then all's well and good, and if not, kick them. At least they'll have the opportunity to go back to bronze and get a bit more practice in.

Gold, I'm sorry but it is fair to kick a level one in gold. Bronze and Silver let them stay and help them level up quicker and direct them here to find their tips to help them out if they also are a low N7 level.

 I reserve the right to kick level one characters from gold and plat. IMO you should be level 15+ to play gold and 20 to play plat.

I'm not the greatest gamer but i have taken level 1 characters into bronze missions with a team of characters at level 17-19 and N7's only in double figures & I came first in the end.

Besides all this how are new players supposed to get a game & get the experience they need if they keep getting kicked? I know this isn't a charity but you were all noobies with level 1 characters once.

Give level 1 characters a chance - they may surprise you.

Clarify - are you getting kicked out of Bronze lobbies because your character is level 1? Or are you getting kicked out of higher difficulty lobbies?

Kicking lvl1 characters from bronze is full stupidity.

From silver - at least check his/her N7 ranking and his/her gear. An experienced player with lvl1 char + the right gear - usually rocks in silver. I'm not a really good player but today I started a lvl1 Shadow with a Reegar Carbine X on Silver. I was the second best player in this match. OK, my Shadow died lot's of times, but she could kill tons of enemies.

From Gold... check N7 ranking and gear. Same applies as Silver. I met awesome players who done some really serious business on Gold - with lvl1 characters. Anyway a lvl10 character is also OK for Gold.

Platinum... OK, this is a plain stupid boss horde mode. It really needs lvl15+ characters because it needs pure DPS. However I'll be not really surprised if I see a video about a lvl1 group killing stuff in Platinum.

My automatic lvl. 1 kick reflex gets triggered on platinum. For PuGs especially, any character level less than 15 is going to make things -- though not impossible -- harder than it needs to be.

I don't mind lvl. 1 characters on gold most of the time, but in certain situations they will also get the boot.

only when a level 1 enters a gold match do I vote to kick other than that your good in a random. If I know you and play with you on a regular basis then a level 1 on gold is not as bad.

Yep it was bronze. Although the jury now seems to be out on whether it was because of the level 1 character or because they were intimidated by an N7 900 above theirs. However it happend to me a couple ot times in similar groups and they also kicked another level 1 character who was nearer their own N7s so i'd guess it was the level1 that did it. Maybe i'll be hosting more for Operation Patriot - see you all there.

Why don't you just buy some Recruit Packs? This way you'll get the Level 1 character pretty fast to at least Level 5.

I don't like to play power dependent classes on Level 1. Not because I couldn't survive a Gold Game with them. I did that more than once. But it's just booooooring. The fun with Mass Effect is to have those different powers at your service. But a Fury or a Vanguard at Level 1 is just not fun. I can stay in safe distance and cover with many other characters, but when I choose these guys, I wanna be in the front and killing stuff the way those clases were designed for.

Anyhow, kicking someone from a Bronze Lobby, because he uses a Level 1 character is just plain stupid. That's what Bronze is for. Everybody started at some Point with an N7 Rank of 1. How would you ever get a chance to level up, if you'd get kicked from Bronze every time?

Besides, this video clearly demonstrates that you can even rock Platinum with four Level 1 characters using only common weapons:

So the ability of the player is by far more important than class, loadout and Level combined.
