I have nothing against pc players at all I think they're awesome. (glad that's out of the way)

AHEM!!

I hate it when me and INVADERONE'S videos get compared to pc players videos. There is always some troll that's more than happy to reply with a platinum solo/duo of a pc team shattering our time.. WTF!?!?!?

In my opinion, the 2 can't compare. There is different mechanics, and different set of skills. I can go on and on about this....

My point is... Why are most (90%) of the awesome platinum solo/duos being owned by the pc community? The other (10%) like me, INVADERONE and very few others on console doing anything great.

Is there really a difference? Maybe Im just a noob complaining or maybe PC is easier.

Everyone's opinion is encouraged but I really wanna hear from ELITE PC PLAYERS...

because its much easier for them to film and post video???
ive soloed gold to see if i could do it, but that doesnt mean youll ever see the evidence, as i did not post it....................... and dont even know how i would on xbox...

Mouse vs controller is one big part.

The use of the mouse makes precision shooting significantly easier than using a controller. That's all is to it. Precision shooting can be done with a controller but it takes a bit longer, whereas with a mouse you have a much greater tolerance/correction available if you move the mouse too far such that you over shoot your crosshairs.

Even the little joystick thingies you have on your console controllers will not match the precision of a mouse.

I think free camera control while running has alot to do with it also. We have to stop running to turn the camera.

Quick turns and swift environmental awareness is crucial to a good solo or duo on the higher difficulties. It is possible to do this on the 360, but on the PC, it's much easier without a doubt, and I knew that from my first match on the demo.

The reason is simple 90% of the ultra hardcore players are on PC. Looking at your videos the console versions platinum is a mix of PC's Gold enemies and console versions Gold is PC's silver enemies and PC's platinum if it was on consoles would be called Diamond for consoles. If you don't believe this try playing the PC platinum with an Xbox 360 controller. The games on PC are much faster the enemies move faster, we can move faster, the enemies are more accurate, we are more accurate. Everything is more intense and we are trained to be better at the game than the console gamers. You will be considered a knowledgeable noob if you played on PC and would struggle for a few days as you adjust to a higher difficulty.

As a player on multiple platforms, (maybe not mass effect but just in general), I get annoyed by these, pc offers better aiming, console with controllers offers much smoother movement, which can be just as advantageous, especially when you movement to help aim. I'm a vet of Shadowrun, you know the game that pitted pc players against 360 players, and I can tell you this, yeah, at a distance the pc players had an advantage, but when ever I got in close they were screwed cause they couldn't keep up. To me pc offers better killing potential because of the aiming, and console offers better survivability for being able to move so much easier and smoother.

But to the question at hand, simpler, easier to capture with pc

Without a doubt it's the fact that a mouse is a much better control option for shooters and I say this as someone who has a gaming PC, but just prefers to game on my PS3. I just feel less like I'm working when I have a controller in my hand and away from my PC.

Controllers are definitely better for some games (eg fighters, driving), possibly better for others, but opinions vary here (eg platformers, 3rd person adventure games like Batman) and without a doubt worse for others (eg shooters, strategy games).

The real reason is 90% of PC players are much much older than 12. while only 10% of console gamers are older than 12.

because on PC they can aim fast (without having to deal with aim assis... aim grief), turn around 100 times faster, remap the keys so they don't get taken down by space bar key, medi-gel cancel (not that big of a deal but still)
oh and they can run like living beings, not the mecha running we get

It's easier to record on a PC since oyu don't need special hardware.
