FTL, score hardly matters. I'm still not quite sure in which way you believe it does. If you want to prove to me that you are good in the slightest, post a sub 12 minute run on Goddess. Use the best PC players you can find?

Good luck.

What I am saying you console ME3 experts would not even survive platinum on your first trys on PC playing with a 360 controller. Anyone who can do a Platinum solo on PC with a 360 controller I will declare him god of this game. The ME3 on PC is much harder which is all I am saying and the PC gamers are trained at a higher difficulty of ME3 and as a result are much better overall and combine that with years and years of fast paced hardcore shooter experience and you have a recipe for the most skilled players on the planet who can set amazing times even with a higher difficulty PC version.

I am very familiar with PC gaming and first person shooters. Roots man, roots. I've also seen ME3 MP played on PC and to be honest, it wasn't quite as you describe. No matter how "crisp" it can get, good tactics are good tactics.

In a roundabout way are you saying that playing on console is easier? That is just not true if that is what you are saying. Your turning speed witchcraft, faster loading times and not-so-laggy/glitchy ( better frame rate ) matches are a much better advantage than Xbox's auto-swarmer-kill, lame camera and damn heavy servers.

What I am saying you Xbox 360 elite gamers should give the PC version a try with a 360 controller and then u will understand what I am saying. I never said playing the 360 version was easy I said the PC version is much harder to play with a 360 controller than it is to play the 360 version with a 360 controller. Sorry for not being clear enough. PC version is programmed to be much harder so that the PC controls do not destroy the AI easily. Do you understand, Bioware made the PC version harder so that we felt equally challenged as the console gamers with their limited controls.

hmmm this post is misleading. at first it seems as though yer not talking down to us and everything is cool but if i really think about it, you are subliminally establishing pc superiority with that comment

We shall see! Condor is just the beginning

You suckers are brave, and ridiculous. Condor? Speedrun? 12 minutes flat? Don't want to even try such an unpleasant endeavour.

You forgot only Turians :o

That's not a handicap.:P

On a sidenote, I'm partial to using a Phaeston on my TSent at the moment.

Yes this is true and Bioware has even comfirmed this on several occasions. This is probably the reason why the PC version does not officially support any gamepad controller but it can be forced through Xpadder which is a program than configures PC controls on to a 360 controller. The 360 versions target demographics is a more casual one hence the easier difficulty, same goes for the PS3 but in the PS3's case the controller is even worse for shooters. Atleast the 360 controller was kind of designed with shooters in mind and for the most part works great for slow paced shooters but with fast paced shooters the limitation of even the 360 controller begin to show and here is where the Keyboard Mouse is unmatched in the fast paced shooter department, and the only place to really play fast paced shooters is the PC. I highly recommend trying the PC version it will be very cheap. All you need is a decent desktop computer from the last 2-3 years and you can easily run the game on max graphics settings. I myself play Mass Effect 3 on three 24inch monitors in triple screen surround at 5760x1080 resolution, there is nothing like playing all games this way for maximum immersion.

Kenadian it's only a handicap when something better, faster, could have been used. That could have been sub 11 with grenade classes and GIs.

Don't think too much it is what it says the PC version is clearly much harder then the console version if both are played with the same 360 controller. All the AI enemies receive a huge buff in their skills department. PC Phantoms  never touch the ground sometimes and PC Banshees:alien: move faster and constantly without stopping untill either they are dead or we are. All the weak enemies are much eviler ,more athletic, more accurate and do more damage. Even Geth Turrets can remove a krogans shield in seconds and a nemesis will always remove the whole shield of almost any character with cyclonic modulator IV with 1 shot.

Don't make it sound like they used Batarian Sentinels or something. Turians are extremely good against Reapers.

Lol I will admit that Turians are not the worst characters, especially for Reapers, but we could have used something better. Doing so on Goddess now ( this week ) actually, should be a nice time.

Batarian Sentinels you say?

Can we all just sit back and consider OP's statement for a moment?

Lets just relax and observe the sweet ignorance... -just- for a few seconds.

Someone ACTUALLY doesn't know that the control scheme for the PC is, and always will be, more sensitive then the consoles.Even a child who plays bejeweled on both console and PC knows this....

So for posterity, please, stop being such a group of ignorant idiots.

Because it is cheaper to record gameplay on PC with just a simple program, whereas xbox requires capture cards which are fairly expensive. Also, accuracy does not matter for ME3 - many solo or speedrun setups do not care for skill with aiming (GI Piranha, KV Reegar, Arc Grenades, power based classes like Fury, Batarian Soldier, Slayer etc.) so I doubt M+KB is that big of a factor.

No, I think there is some truth to it everytime I watch an Xbox gold run I can't help wonder if they are playing silver, usu. the things that I note are fewer enemies that spawn at a single time, AI is not as aggressives sometime actually allowing think to think instead of split second decisions.

Actually if you don't know how to use the weapon and when your time will be messed.

So, yes, Aiming is always important, very important.

Ummmm. I realize Im late to this thread but I didnt even realize I was named in it.... Caineghis?  LOL. What are you getting me into?

In regards to this I just recently purchased the pc version of the game and have been playing it and I would disagree that the enemies are harder on pc. It all seemed the same in matter of fact. I have only played up to Gold not Platinum yet but....I dont see any difference. The enemies seem to be the same on consolve and pc.

I like both the console and pc players and hope to get in a few more games with pc players also as I plan to continue playing pc a few times a week. In regards to the advantages/disadvantages it seems that the precision of the mouse is a huge advantage over console players but movement seems to be a bigger advantage on the console. This is the major difference I have noticed. In the console we are used to using cover, bobbing and weaving, rolling etc but on the pc from what I have seen so far the gamer's style is very different. Im new to pc so far so this is the most I have noticed but so far from what I can tell the difficulty is the same.

Knowing Caineghis2500 I am pretty sure he didnt want to create a troll post. I have noticed the same thing on my solo's. I dont do solo's for time as that is not my present challenge. I presently use my solo's as a means to provide a tutorial/guide to the ME3 players but I do get comparison's to pc speed runs which....make no sense. My Batarian Soldier solo got compared to xcal's Kroguard speed run on Glacier...I was like huhhhhh? wuuutt? My title clearly said "tutorial" and they were two totally different characters and I never even went for a speed run....the words "speed" and "run" or "time" where never on the title or description. Weird but to me its also a good thing. It means people are enjoying the game and enjoy watching ME3 videos. This helps us get more DLC as more people play etc. Anyways, sorry for the long explanation but I didnt even realize I was named here. LOL. So..... yeah.... pc & console...we are brothers. ;)

Mouse vs controller is one big part.

this and this.   mouse and keyboard.   i would love to play on PC - but i don't really want to invest in a gaming PC and all the gear to hook it up to where i'd want it (my TV, surround sound, recliner, etc.etc.)
that's the only thing my xbox has going for it.... and it's enough to win out for me.    i know i could set up a PC for gaming on my TV - but that would take more $$$ and i'm happy enough with my xbox...  sorta.

This is the opposite impression for me. Whe playing pc it seems pretty much the same. When I have looked at pc solo's I think ...what? On Console those enemies do a lot more than that. Weird. I guess its a poiint of view. Bioware has not said anything in relation. From playing pc I dont really see the difference though. The enemies seem the same.

When you see a video from another platform and notice that the enemies are "dumbed down" it is because the player in the video, or the team, is owning the living **** **** out of the match. Control the enemy or let them control you.

Likely if you think it "looks easier" the person/team you are watching might be better than you.

Tactics are important, but what I meant was that all the extra precision isn't really that necessary unless you're using a sniper or Saber. Obviously you need to be able to get consistent headshots or whatever, but getting fast times in my experience depends a lot more on your positioning, build and kill prioritisation.
