It's not my fault women bought into the idea that they can have it all (career and family). Life is about priorities.

But are you going to promote someone or increase tha salary of someone who has taken months off, or will in the future and you have to pick up the slack as the employer? No. And woman has said they should have it all. It's a,life choice, some very successful wome do give up having children, some don't want them and some only take the minimum maternity leave before getting back to work. And some of them are very successful career ladies, so they should be, if they want that.

Some don't, but they want to work and have a work life balance. They are going to have to face the fact that high pressure employers are not going to look on this as a benefit to the company, and I think that is at least understood.

The ultra feminists who may try and palm this off as sexist male agenda are nuts anyway and you can see them a mile off.

This doesn't make it right to treat women unfairly.  I am a woman.  I have no children and I make much less than I should in my position, much less than the average in my region, but I work in the private sector and fewer women are working at my level.  I am no less likely to take time off than a man,  In fact, I haven't taken a sick day in all of 2012.  My boss, a man, predominently works from home.  

Men also may have the option of paternity leave.  By nature, men have more testosterone.  Testosterone influences aggression.  By nature, men are more likely to get in a fight with a coworker at work, get in trouble for sexual harassment, or break an arm because they decided xtreme unicycling looked like a good idea.  Men are just as much, if not more, of a liability as women, but because of gender stereotypes people think it's okay to treat women differently because the physiology of her body allows for the creation of human life?  That's bull****.  Employers choose to focus on one aspect of being a woman, that is frankly none of their business anyway, and use it to hold back an entire faction of people.  Pure and utter bull****.

Yeah, pushy women don't get the same reaction as pushy men.  A pushy man is thought of as "assertive", a pushy woman is thought of as a "b*tch".  That's not to say that women are doomed, and they can't make it in the workplace, or that some women couldn't use a little assertiveness training.  I have to believe that women will come out on top if they try.

AND you don't know me, or how assertive I can be.  My point in my original post is that men pose a huge liability to employers and imposing on women archaic principles essentially because we have ovaries, is stupid and a huge waste of talent that should be honed and cultivated for greatness.

Speaking of Polio, Elizabeth Kenny, a woman, was one of the first people to discover therapeutic interventions for it in the early to mid 1900s.  Her findings became key principles in the creation of 'physical therapy', and while her treatment showed and proved against polio, she was not respected in the medical field my comtemporary doctors.  

Also, she treated Alan Alda when he was little.  So M*A*S*H.

Europe was a backward continent for most of it's history like you pointed out earlier. Any privilege white males have is because they earned it. The daughters of wealthy men always had access to education often through private tutors. They didn't do much then and even now when women have all the opportunity in the world they can't handle it in demanding STEM programs which are the backbone of innovation. Gender and queer studies degrees aren't. Again you can't accept hierarchy.

The number of women that like games is miniscule relative to men and will probably remain that way for the indefinite future.
