3 Predictions
1) There will be a separate branch of Bioware that will focus on Multiplayer aspects for DA3 that will have no impact to the single player games. But will require players to play it to get the hidden ending, and it will have RNG items to be purchased with Micro transactions.
2) There will be Novels / Comics made before DA3 is released and will retcon all previous DA1 and DA2 events to set up the stages for DA3. So that all major decisions will have a single result that can be used in DA3.
3) Darkspawns will become impossible to defeat by regular means, What we thought was an sacrifice will be retcon by prediction 2 and they will become the enemy to be defeated. But we will not be fighting against them at all in DA3 until the last chapter of the last act, instead our enemies will be fellow Grey Wardens and Templars, they become evil and will suddenly disappear in the last chapter and last act, then we will realize that Darkspawn is the real enemy then the game ends with an appearance of the God Child( DA1 ) that makes everything good once again.
This is no joke, this is my prediction, remember DA1 did end with the thought of an God Child. And we all know how much money ME3 multiplayer is earning for EA so prediction 1 is also based off that. Prediction 2 is based on how ME2 didn't really have any impact in ME3, how each event happens pretty much the same with or without ME2 characters. And how they didn't affect the ending at all regardless of whether or not you had them.

This isn't Mass Effect 3. Don't just write off DA3:I because you think that they're going to repeat the same thing they already did with another franchise.

Then I hope someone will remember to dig this post back out when the game is released and we realized that hey....didn't someone mentioned that Grey Wardens was gonna be the enemy.
I remembered someone in the ME3 thread post predictions that actually was taken as a joke but was pretty much spot on when the game was released.

Among many, many predictions. One was bound to be correct.Novate wrote...

Shall we bookmark this thread so we can dig it up when you're wrong?
This thread can be summed up with: DA3:I is ME3. For that reason alone, it's not worth remembering.

You're right, but it's done by the same company. You could then argue there's 2 different teams within Bioware, ME team & the DA team. DA2 is a perfect example of it being "influenced" by ME, so Novate's prediction isn't far off.Angelo2027 wrote...
xD Dude don't worry this is not ME3 they are not going to do this.

I am not saying it will be correct, but really how many saw Multiplayer as viable in ME3 when it was announced. Especially when Mass Effect was all about the single character Shepard.
IN Dragon Age, DA2 shown us that the Warden isn't the main character, that the DA team can create new leads whenever they want. And that its the battles that mattered, Therefore Multiplayer actually works better in DA universe than the ME universe. Full Scale battles with multiplayer players against an vast army that is trying to invade.
How many Novels and Comics was available before ME3 and after ME3, we all know that EA is trying to branch into multiple outlets to earn more profit. What better way to continue a story that help lead the break between DA:O and DA2 into DA3 than Comics and Novels. This will help set the stages for anything they want to do. And logically, the best way is exactly what we saw in ME3, make it so certain plot lines are retcon to set the stage for what they are planning.
we all know that there is a child with godly powers from DA:O so that is not really too far out the park.
Of course I am putting these as predictions because I wanted to let the Writers know that this is what they need to avoid. I am one of those players that don't want Multiplayer in my SRPG. And don't want Deus Ex Machina or 3 colors endings.
I want to let the Writers know that this trick can only be used once, and it was used in ME3 and it didn't end well.
I hope they can learn from the mistakes of ME3 and realize that there is much much more that they can do.

Did I miss something? When was it established that the god child had any special powers? I don't doubt he has some special powers, but the Old Gods themselves don't really have "godly powers" besides the whole, I am a bloody huge dragon thing they got going on.

it was also not mentioned that it didn't have any special powers. So there is room to develop this character.
I mentioned it because I really don't want the writers to use it as a get out of jail free card.
