Devs mentioned in a video that class and specs will be recognized better.
What are you hoping will return? What impact should it have on your playthrough?

I'd like an arcane warrior that can conceal the fact that he's a mage, to a degree.
Also, blood mage shouldn't have to be evil.

Recognition and revulsion towards a Blood Mage PC, please.

It would also be nice if companions went back to teaching specializations and there was an actual scene to accompany it.

I think it's more important that your companions and those who know you well should recognize what you are than it is that some random NPC who has no knowledge of you suddenly realizes that you are a mage, or whatever you are. And what would really be nice is if you are a mage and use mage powers in front of others you can give yourself away, but if you are careful to keep your mage'ness hidden it would be nice if it remained hidden.

I don't even want Blood Mages in Dragon Age 3 - Bioware should have never put them in Origins.

Also - I'm not sure keeping hidden as a mage will be important at all in this game. From the sounds of it - you're the head of a major organization.

What should happen in my opinion - is that certain loyalties should be harder (impossible) to gain depending on class choices. ((Templars can't get Apostates - Blood Mages can't get... anyone who's a halfway decent human being - etc.))

From what he said in the video, blood mage sounds like a guaranteed return. Beyond that, I think adding difficulty to gaining trust based on class would be good, but don't make it impossible. My blood mages have been all-around good people, if extremely sarcastic, so making people judge me completely by my spec would be going too far.

Why all the blood mage hate?

One of the devs said specs will be "more special, not only in terms of how you get it, but also what happens once you've gotten it." So I'm hoping for something even more in-depth than a companion teaching it.

Reavers should have an intimidate bonus. Bards have the same for persuasion.
Assassins should be able to avoid certain confrontations by simply assassination the individual in question beforehand, assuming circumstances allow it.
Maybe blend Champion and Guardian into a command and control unit.
And please make force mage a tree, not a spec.
