Just today I found out in ME2 that you can 'activate' Zaeed's old assault rifle more than once for different dialogues. Hearing him talk about what kind of shenanigans he got up to with Jessie was almost... touching. This is a man who couldn't care less about people, yet who establishes firm bonds with weapons.
It reminded me why I love this goddamned anti-heroic psychopathic character so much.
Of course, I wouldn't dream of making a thread that has no point to it. I want to ask you all a question. It's remarkable how much of a hatedom Zaeed has (or at least, I think he has one). If you hate Zaeed, what are the reasons for it (god forbid you say auto-dialogue because that is not valid criticism)?

Ah, I love Zaeed even though at first I thought he was a douche. He ended up being one of my top 3 characters in the whole series. That goddamn bastard.

Zaeed doesn't have a dialogue wheel or ******, so I think most people ignore him for one or both of those reasons. Personally I don't mind him, I just wish I could call bull**** on some of his stories.

If you get Zaeed as a war asset in ME3 a list of items that he bought after agreeing to help Shepard shows up at the terminal in Liara's office. One of the items is a repair kit for an old Hane-Kedar rifle so apparently Zaeed and Jessie are back to killing their way across the galaxy.
