So will you buy another mass effect game after mass effect 3?

Beginning to think all the best RPG writers are at Obsidian and Bethesda.

Not completely sure. Leaning towards no. Especially not unless extensive YouTubing is done first. Need more data.

I have been forced to imagine my own end for ME3 and my Shep is in a distant part of the Galaxy living a simple and very happy life with Liara, at peace knowing the rest of the galaxy is safe after they destroyed the Reapers. And Liara continues to do good in her role as the SB. Money grabbing fraudulent corporations no longer have a strangle hold in every industry including gaming. ME4 seems irrelevant to me.

They lied about a lot of things when it came to Mass Effect 3, seemed like it was rushed and stuff. So, will you buy another installment?
Depends whether EA shaft the frak out of the story and make it MP only. If they do that then i will not be purchasing it. We all know Bioware's founders and their lead writer left the company because EA were tightening the reigns and not letting them make creative decisions for themselves.

1) The ME team created a great story with fascinating characters and awesome mythos.
2) Bioware has written great RPG games in the past and one poor writing choice for an ending (10 minutes out of an epic 60+ hours of enthralling gameplay) does not preclude future success.
3) The marketing team will have had a serious discussion with the writing team, underscoring the importance of DLC's having a positive impact on the ending; I'm willing to bet the next ending will be more dependent on past decisions (making DLC's more attractive) and not on a last-minute choice (making DLC's practically irrelevant).
I will NOT buy ME4 if:
1) They make it a MMO (a personnal choice: I have zero interest in MMO's),
2) Veer away from the space opera/hard sci-fi that has served them so well.

Why did you kill all the mages?!? Anders and I took out the Templars and supported the Mage rebellion! That Meredith lady was out of control, man...

I hate the endings and won't spend one more dime on BioWare stuff until they fix the ending. But that doesn't mean I won't take free downloads, and it doesn't mean I will stop a real supporter of BioWare who is buying exta copies of stuff from buying me the new things. And I promise I will totally vouch for them!

in my opinion thats exactly what EA should do.
force bioware to use its bioware cliche story and nothing more. anytime bioware steps out of their comfart zone, inevitably alot of WTF starts to go on.
EA isnt to blame for ME3s failings. they never forced bioware to make a story all about a 'crucible' and they certainly had nothing to do with the ending. EA probably supplied the awesome combat that ME3 features, which is a good thing for mass effect. but i highly doubt the reasons your thinking ME3 failed had anything to do with EA. as a matter of fact i think mass effect is better because of EA, and worse because of (current)bioware.

I will not buy another Mass Effect game because for me Mass Effect was Shepard’s story. Shepard is how I explored the Mass Effect universe. Without Shepard it would just feel not right.
Don’t get me wrong, the universe it great and the potential is there for more games. If I did play another Mass Effect game the whole time in the back of my mind I would be asking “where is Shepard?”, or “what happened to Shepard?”. I’d rather just head canon Shepard getting rescued and leave the Mass Effect universe at that.

My mage Hawk supported the Templars, temporarily took out Vengeance (I don't for one moment believe he’s dead), but even then we didn't kill all the mages (per Cullen's recommendation we spared who we could).AllegedVixEo wrote...
