Perhaps this could be a new mechanic for Multiplayer. If you have more than one person of the same race, you get a bonus to Weapon Damage, Power Damage or Shields. It could even be a random benefit.

Any Asari will do. class does not matter, only the species of the team.

@ dandman313: No, it doesn't matter what class you are. Just as long as ALL players are the same race. Like someone earlier mentioned, I got so tired telling these randoms that all four of us have to be the same alien race. One guy wanted to argue with me about his understanding of only needing two players being the same race.
I had to explain to him, like you would a five year old, that with the 2+players part, you and a friend could team up in a private lobby and knock out the challenge as the same alien race. Got more friends willing to join? Even better, as long as everyone is the same.
So I've just been setting the house rules in my lobby. All four go as the same, depending on what characters you may have, or you get kicked. I've had too many issues these last few Ops because people have reading comprehension problems. That, or they're just being d**ks on purpose.

Done for tonight.Tacked on another 18 matches (9 Bronze, 9 Silver). Observing that there is about zero interest in completing the squad goal on PSN at this point. I think that is a good thing, as everyone has moved on to the allied goal. People are getting a lot smarter about reserving missiles for extraction as well on silver or higher matches. Feeling pretty good about reaching this target....but there is football tomorrow...so you never know. Will sneak in a few more matches but not much more.

I wish more people understood the same race. I get so tired of setting up a room and asking, after they ok the mission, do you have a ..... race??????

FINALLY, after playing all day, I found a lobby on the PS3 with four players willing to all play as the same race, in this case vorcha. But alas it was not to be as as soon as we started one (or in one case, two) players would drop out, leaving us to the mercy of those who drop in, in which case we got a krogan and an N7 Fury.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with the squad objective. This will be the first multiplayer weekend since they established it on the PS3 that I've given up. The PS3 really, really, very badly, needs the splash screen because I'm convinced most of them have no idea why there's an entire game full of vorcha.

I want Bioware to release the data on this event, because I REALLY want to know how many successful squad goals were achieved.

Have you made your squad goal yet? If not, and you're on PS3, add me and I'll play a match with you when I get on in a couple of hours. My GT is in my profile and I have most races except for batarian, geth and vorcha.

Got some more matches against Cerberus done today. One with turians, one with salarians, one with geth and one with Krogan. Full extractions on silver. Also did gold to kill more Atlas mechs but we didn't get the full extraction.

We need a splash screen for the PS3 still think that alot of people don't know about the weekend events and a update patch to fix the drop out disconnected from the match get very cross when this happens reach lvl 10 or lvl 11 and bang!!! you lost your connection not happy please fix this issue thanks.

they should show us how we're doing again. when it showed us we were going 2 lose, it made us try harder and helped us win. it was like a rally call. they should always do it!

Thanks for helping me out with the goal it was fun playing with you, I wanted to play a few more games with you but I had to leave, nex time that  you see me hit me up so we can have some more fun with out the stress of compleating a goal and with some more players.

Unless we are killing it...in which case there would be very little incentive to stay on the mission...

LMK if you want to give it a go still. I have my Engineer @ level 19,so can do Geth, Quarian or Salarian also buffing up my Sentinel (Turian, Krogan, Batarian, Vorcha) now....this can be done with 2 players if we max shields and play smart...I am on now for a bit then will likely come back this evening (ET Time zone). My PSN ID is same as forum ID, send me a friend request. May be able to pull in another friend or 2 if they are on....don't quit, we can do this!

Geth, Asari (that was fun, 3 quite scared Asari and one who tried to tell 'em it'll be fine. Everytime this one player saw a turret, I thought he's going to have a heartattack. You have some funny ppl there on the other side of the globe ^^), Krogan (not my race, I got shot by an engineer 2 times! Kinda embarrassing ...), Quarian, Salarien and Drell.

Leaves me with one question: Why does no one want to play a vorcha-game?

Btw. Thanks Bioware. Never played a Drell before and now I had to and it was fun. Nice event-idea imho

Could you please add current operations to the select game screen? I am tired of joining games that don't meet the requirements and then leaving them because it is time consuming... By selecting "current operation" tab, we could also get a briefing on the mission requirements... Please...

Me and three others played a game with all vorchas the hole place was on fire it was fun, I don't know why people don't like the vorcha I just unlock it like three days ago and is one of my favorites. I also got insulted two days ago for using the flamer WTH!!!
