Bite your tongue. I still want to play and I've seen plenty of newer players. We mustn't abandon the newer ones.

Agreed!
I started ME series only after ME3 was relased. So when I bought ME3, I was doubtful about finding anyone to do the CO-OP (after reading negetive reviews about the MP). But when I tried it, I found plenty of lobbies. NThe number of players is coming down lately which is bad for new ME players. So I will always play ME3 multiplayer in the weekends (especially in Event Weekends).
Still, the life expectancy of ME3 multiplayer is not much - unless new game modes and enemy types are introduced.

I think you might underestimate the community. There are not only kiddos around, needing to play every game as soon as it's out. I personally couldn't care less for any of the three mentioned games(which doesn't mean I think they will be bad at all) and will definitely spend some hours, after work, in a good old ME3 firebase somewhere.Raiden Storm wrote...
I will have to cherish this coming weekend op! With Borderlands released along with Assassins creed 3 and Resident evil 6 etc on the way ME multi is going to be dead. I know my time is going to be pre-occupied lets make the most of this op.

Ironic....coming from the individual who couldn't take the time to spell out words ranging from two to three letters.
And even if you were going for humor, given the average reading skills of this thread, it still doesn't create the funny you may have been looking for. Of course, that assumes a hell of a lot more intelligence than you may possess.
Have a nice day.
Edit: Just as a reminder - Irony and humor only work if each is funny.

it shouldn't be that difficult, considering that all objectives are under (any difficulty) so basically just sit there with your squad and pwn the hell out of Cerberus, only question is how much damage will do, pretty sure we're going to surpass 600K of atlas' destroyed.
I am not so sure...it's a stretch and here is my thinking - 1) it all depends on the mission level mix...if most folks are going to play bronze, it will be tough. 2-3 mechs per match isn't much output, so there has to be a good mix between the levels....then, and I hate to admit it 2) there are a ton of people playing Borderlands 2 right now, at least anecdotally (on PSN right now, I have 8 friends currently playing, 6 are playing Borderlands 2....). We can do it, but I wouldn't be putting this one in the bag for said reasons...all the more reason to fight hard this weekend!
edit - sp.
so basically your saying that most people would have to play on gold + to be able to get a good count of mechs and the fact that borderlands 2 came out this week. Both valid, although there are plenty of groups out here (bioware social network) to be able to pull it off, or at least I'm assuming so, which would suggest that coordination would be key. Well if anything, anybody can send me a friend request if your on XBL, GT: Last Ghostrider, so if anybody wants or needs a 4th you all can just let me know (in the friend request let me know you're from BSN otherwise i'll just ignore it due to massive spam messages) either way, if we pull our resources, we should be able to do it.
see you all in the battle field!

I don't think Gold/Platinum, necessarily, because for most folks (self included) there is a more significant time sink for those types of matches. Thinking a strong middle-class of silver matches may be the ticket. We can't get too caught up in bronzing the squad goal, though I plan on doing just that for anyone that needs help. We need to remember that it's about the mechs as soon as we clear the squad goal. I think we can do it, but we can't slack off and think this will be easy.
Sorry I am not on XBL or I would join you in the fight! Instead I will be joining my PS3 friends and bretheren!

I recently purchased the game and I don't really know how to participate on these events. Can someone explain those to me?
Also, is there any good MP guides out there? I find myself already buying the Spectre packs and it pisses me off that I don't get any useful weapons nor characters :<
Thanks!

participating is easy, I would suggest that you link your BSN and EA/origin account if you haven't done so, just to make sure everything runs smoothly. Participating entails you finishing the goals of the missions and of course the Alliance goal is based on everybody (nobody is expecting you to take out 600K worth of mechs
see you in the battle field!

Lastly you can also join groups that are all about ME3 MP like my group the Alliance Military Command (AMC) which has group for all three platforms. I wouldn't suggest buy spectre packs just yet, specially if you just started, start with recruit packs and work your way up. Hope this helps.
see you in the battle field!
Thanks man, I just synch'd my Origin acct to the BSN, how do I synch the GT acct to the BSN? (I own the PC version tho). Also, where can I share my origin acct to arrange parties?
Thanks again, you've been pretty helpful!
PS: I just found I could promote my lvl 20 characters LOL

Remember that this is done within ME3 under options (?) and not your Origins settings (in the game browser). That's something different.
And welcome to the Family! I'm PC also, maybe cya in there!
