It might be a good idea to set your matches on private after everyone has switched to the same race, so that if someone lags out / quits you don't get a random join of a different race screwing you up (probably right at extraction too).

  I can't solo??? Damn it! I am now forced to... communicate!! This will be a traumatic event for an awkward PS3 player, such as myself... And I'm leaving for the weekend! Looks like it is time to skip out on sleeping...

Chris said same race so of course it counts.

Unless quarian women are from Rannoch and quarian men are from Heastrom

They still have yet to get the last commendation pack to me. I put in a review ticket and they SAID one was sent out to me, but i still never received it. Spoke with Origin customer service and they said one was sent to me as well, but again, never got anything in my game/store. I've had to put a review ticket in for every both weekend ops so far.

Feeling unmotivated to do another op, just to NOT receive a commendation pack.

Does "same race" mean "same class" as well, or is (for example) Drell Vanguard+Drell Adept acceptable?

It doesn't matter the class as long they are from the same species. Otherwise Chris would have said class instead of race.

The text is very clear about this.

I believe this'll be me. 
Let's just hope that the lobby doesn't fill up with four people immediately.. at least when you're already 2 or 3 of the same race, the last would be pressured to change

Any chance BW that we can get a patch for the Splash Screen? I mean you gave us a patch to add Trophies for the SP DLC I'm likely to not buy but I can't get a Splash screen?

It will be a great burden for a team leader to organize the match according to the squad goals...

Make it even easier. Set your game to Cerebus (or search for Cerebus games only). Look for the noobiest guy in the lobby and pick the same character as him and carry the game to extraction. Set it to Silver if you can handle it, you'll get more Mechs. If not, set it to Bronze and breeze through a few games. You don't need mics or coordination to accomplish this goal. Just a bit some good old fashion common sense and compromise.

On Bronze there are four Atlas Mechs: Waves 7, 9, 10 + 1 during extraction

On Gold and Platinum we don't count mechs. A body is a body;)
