The new parameters of this mission encouraged me to create new non-human characters. I don't think I've spent this much time on a weekend mission before.

I have a suggestion on another subject. If you raised the level limit on the multiplayer characters. you would see more m-player playing. For now, I only play "Bronze". It my "middle age" reflexes holding me back. But, if my character could just be a little more powerful, I'd try "Silver" or maybe even "gold". This would also boost the number of your "platinum" matches.

I must say, this has been the most fun out of all the weekends for me. It was interesting to have an all Krogan and all Asari team. Would've liked to have tried the others out but didn't have oodles of free time this weekend.

I'm also very pleased with the community. It seems like there have been a lot less angry players lately. People respond to dying with gently muttering something like "aw geez" instead of sounding like Napoleon Dynamite with Tourette's.

I think the squad goal and the allied goal should have been tied a little more together. It was really annoying how many games I had to join just to get 4 people in the squad all using the same class. Some players just wouldn't give up their N7 class or even an old-school human to allow others to get the commendation pack. I started the weekend willing to change my race to whatever was being used in each server I joined to help the most players get the commendation pack. But most of the time, everyone was playing something different and seemed unwilling to budge on their choices.

How hard is it to have everyone on the squad switch over to the Leader's non-human race? Several times I got 3 people of the same race. We would kick the 4th guy who would not switch, but in the middle of the first wave, another N7 class would join up and ruin it. We did finally manage to get a 3 man squad all Batarian to earn the award. That took 6 hours of playing to finally get a 15 minute match on Bronze just to complete the task.

It just shows how badly the multiplayer lobby needs more work. 90% of the time, the voice chat does not work - or people are just ignoring it. A text chat needs to be implemented, and maybe a more detailed "match rules" area.

It is actually very fun and challenging for an entire squad to play as the same race. I wish I could get more games like that.

The squad goal of all players being of the same non-human race through complete extraction was interesting. Just running non-humans all weekend and being open to switching characters made it easier. I was able to complete two all Quarian matches, three all Krogan matches, and two all Asari matches.

Two notes:

1. There was a forth all Krogan match, but that one failed when one noob stayed deployed until there was only ten seconds left, and was killed trying to get back to the extraction point.

2. Had a chance for another all Asari/ all Krogan/ all Quarian match, but the forth player claimed he had only been playing for a week and that he only had humans unlocked. He was running an N7 Slayer. While he hemmed and hawed about this, the other two players took off. I launched against Cerberus as soon as two more players showed up so I could at least kill more Atlas.

took me all weekend to find a squad with all the same race..agree with others about tweaking the lobby to be able to post notices asking for players etc..also better control over entry of player mid-game

i didn't realize how kick-a** the asari was until I got in a 4-squad...enemy exploding left and right!

Because I've been ill most of the weekend I've only just been able to start playing. Anyone willing to help me get the squad goal on the Xbox 360? Can play with an Asari, Turian, Drell, Quarian, or Krogan character.

To be honest it was really hard to focus what with four eyes and all...Image IPB

Hopefully I'll get my pack this time. Didn't receive them the last few operations but this time I'm 100% sure my squad, all Drells, extracted successfully.

I think all the "Fuqwit" players have left for BL2...

Their gain is our happy loss.... lol:ph34r:

Krogan says, "Haha their dead!"

Salarian says, "Yeah, but we lost the homeworld."

Krogan says, "Stop whining!"

Yeah I realised something, picking up random games is fine but in Mass Effect Multiplayer but actually trying to organise a match to set rules is Fricking Hard especially when some players just will not give up there N7's even to help others get there pack.

Definitely the most fun op I've tried. I was in all public/random games, and with the same group, we tried an all krogan, asari, salarian, quarian, and turian gold matches (hate the drell, and the vorcha are too difficult to use in Gold, no one tried geth). We stayed with Cerberus to help the community goal.

Next Squad Goal: Full extraction, with all players as human soldiers, equipped with common weapons and no gear or ammo upgrades. To fit the lore, they can say "supply lines are cut/stretched thin, need to do more with less, etc"..

yeah I enjoyed this op also was pretty enternaining watching cerberus fly across the map in every direction thanks to krogan melee. also the all asari match made me turn down the tv cause every couple seconds there was biotic explotions going off lol. Had a hard time at the beginning off the op people didn't know about the op or didn't care and would kick me for trying to let them know about it (ps3 needs the splash screen) but by friday evening i got several requests from folks on the forums that saw i posted i would help anyone who asked and then several who joined with me I would ask and if they didn't we would do a 2 man silver run. Had a real good time with this challenge and in my total games for the weekend the squads i was in faced over 250 Atlas mechs who fell to the allied forces.

Well, I don't, but what I've heard that should not matter?
It's not turned off becuase I don't want to contribute but because it's more like a principle. Maybe I should turn it on afterall.

Lol, yes.

I played so much Cerberus this weekend, I can't even remember what it's like to play Reaper/Geth. I also finally fell victim to the Vanguard glitch, huzzah.
Definitely a fun operation.  :police:

In all official OP descriptions it says feedback must be turned on, I always assumed thats how they collected the OP data.

If the feedback wasn't on then sorry but i am afraid you aren't going to receive any commendation pack since BW has no way of knowing you participated in this operation.

Yeeeeeahhh. Sorry about that DurkslagSwe. You're out of luck. Feedback must be turned on to receive your commmendation pack. Not sure abou the victory pack, I think you'll get that either way (if we all killed the requisite number of Atlases).
