I use it for money. Its too much of an advantage to have, it feels like I'm cheating lol. Plus the texture is crap.

I agree, instant money. The armor is not endgame worthy I find the armor looks a bit ridiculous witht he glowing eye slits.

For a 2h warrior I rush up my strength asap, then immedietly switch it out when I get something better. Or save it for a companion to wear until they get something better. But yes, it is horribly ugly, it tries to be fantasy and sci-fi at the same time and just fails.

I sold it, then bought it back because I needed some decent armour when I specced arcane warrior around level 14. I regret it though, it looks ridiculous.



I've enjoyed the game but there is 1, maybe 2 armour textures I actually think look reasonable in this game. I mean NWN2 had more variety and that looked like dog vomit!

If it didn't look like something Buck Rodgers would wear, I'd use it, but it visually doesn't belong in DA:O. (imo) Looks like a cross between a Cylon and Iron Man.

Actually, it is the regular store which pays me 7.65 soverigns. I reloaded too to check it, both with my current char, new human noble one and the last I finished, city elf, and they both get the same price so I don't think it's a racial discrimination. (unless they do hate dwarves there).

Can it be related to DLC's? C.E.? Aw well, the backpack is really cheap there anyway...

Nah, I got 4.5 with 5 or 6 humans and 2 elves as well. Just reloaded dwarf because she is stuck there and others are basically endgame and I was lazy to look up for early saves.

DLC I have, game is freshly patched, PC version.... I really dont know what makes the difference. Not that it matters much but its interesting little thing.

I get 7 all the time for it as well, not sure in the difference i am using last patch pc also

Give it to Alistair or wear it myself, even if it does look kinda dodgy.. I've only had the game one day though so what do I know.

It may not matter much but it is a whole 3 sovereigns rip-off! For a level 3 character it might be a lot! I have CE with both major DLC and a few other items DLCs for CE, Journeys and a weird one:

"UNRECOGNIZED ITEM An unknown promotional item has been found. Urecognized items will still be available and  recognized by the system and game they are intended for." ... whatever that is...

I know that all the threads asking about it and dating as old as 1 month ago never got a real answer... it could be anything really, including better prices at store. =)

You guys being ripped off have that in "your registered game promotions"?

Juggernaut, Divine Will (templar only), Wardens Commander, Effort, and River Dane armor I stripped from Loghain - those are my favorite when it comes to looks. I like Dwarven Massive too on my elf, I am weird like that
