I'll thank bioware to keep their personal romance bias out of my protagonist personal affairs in Da3, some things should remain sacred, no?

Maybe like in real life, if you find yourself dating someone whose values are incompatible with yours, and they refuse to budge, you can try dating someone else.
There are 3 other love interests in DA2.
And a brothel.
OP really wants to romance Isabela. I seriously have no idea why.

She really wants to romance an Isabela that is not "Isabela". She should try those "body change" mods so she gets Isabela's looks on some DAO tail

Though I still don't understand why OP doesn't choose the Rivalmance path, which allows her to do what she's asking for.
Oh wait, I know:
"red points is bad, heart is good. DURR"
That's her problem.

Okay if get what you mean, then it should be according to both parties. Also this is a valid argument that you have thank you for bringing this up
If you get what she actually means, please explain it to us.
From where I sit, she doesn't actually care about both parties at all, except as far as she can convince the other party to come around to her point of view. That is not the same thing.
Also, and I'm going to put this in every future post I make in this thread: The Rivalry romance already allows this.
Wait, wait, wait... A Rivalmance? That's where you act totally opposite of the characters views, beliefs and ideals, but still wind up being in a romance with them. How is that relevant to this conversation?
NOTE: If you can't tell if Fast Jimmy is joking, just assume he is.

Friend/rivalmance is superficial jimmy and has little to no effect on the static course of romance progression. This isn't my issue in the slightest. No matter what you do, fenris will run out on you, anders will blow up the chantry, merrill will fix that mirrror and so on and so forth. The fact that so many voicing condescension can't see the superficiality when in comparison to origins is quite amusing.I factored all this in before posting so feel free to keep thinking that's the soloution.I and the people who voiced agreement understand the problem and that's enough.

Merrill smashes the mirror on the rivalry path.
EDIT: Beyond that, friendship vs rivalry has a pretty big impact on the nuances of the character's relationship with Hawke, how they feel about themselves, how they feel about their relationship, etc., in a pretty astounding way. Not that I expect nuance to be a major selling point in this thread anymore.

Did you actually play the game, or are you just making sh*t up? The reason we're condescending is because so much of what you say is actually objectively false.

Merrill smashes the mirror after the static keepers death regardless of intervention and early warnings.

lololol you think that hawke's special sparkle love was supposed to interrupt their character arcs, that isn't character development that's some kind of weird control issue
hint: it didn't work that way in DA:O either
love can't persuade alistair from having a raging hate for loghain
love can't persuade morrigan from leaving and walking in that mirror
love can't persuade zevran from his love of killing people
love can't persuade leliana from facing her past and loving the Maker
keep on being wrong, come on

And? You're still wrong: she does not continue trying to repair the mirror in both paths, and her final choice wraps up her character arc end in fundamentally different ways on friendship and rivalry paths.
EDIT: Keep on moving those goal posts until your arms get tired, we can wait.

She does indeed continue to keep trying to fix the mirror even without the Elven tool.So self righteous, so wrong.

She doesn't do exactly what you want, exactly when you want it, because she's not your goddamn character. This is called consistent writing, and it's a good thing.
Every post you make introduces even more conditions so you can guard yourself against being wrong, and you're still presenting yourself as a ridiculous twit who has no idea what she even wants.

What does her supposed self righteousness have to do with your protagonist's sacred personal affairs?

Dear god, a character that doesn't agree with the omnipotent and never-wrong PC and dares to prove herself
and i can't just give her jewelry to get her to shut up?!

what is this world coming to

What on earth are you trying to say? She does NOT keep trying to fix the mirror on the rivalry path: she smashes it. I have bolded where you confirmed this yourself, since that's the only source I imagine you'll listen to.
You seem to be confusing her Act 2 quest, in which you can refuse to give her the Arulin'holm and she keeps trying to repair it anyway, with the actual end of her character arc in Act 3, in which she decides to stop fixing it.
