I know that if you choose the purple "It's Rivaini" option at the end, Hawke says "I saw it and thought of you. That's all." Isabela looks misty-eyed for a moment and says something about how nice it is to have something that reminds her of home. Personally, I find that dialogue option very satisfying, but it doesn't offer commitment, either. Isabela is Isabela. She gets there in the end, but it has to be on her terms.Allan Schumacher wrote...

You kinda have to read the thread. Even then, it may be confusing.
OP is annoyed because she is unable to persuade Isabela to commit to her during the Rivaini Talisman conversation.
I have read the thread. Does anyone know what the other dialogue options say?
I'll thank bioware to keep their personal romance bias out of my protagonist personal affairs in Da3, some things should remain sacred, no?

Eh, that sounds about right. I believe that's what I chose (since choosing "I'm not looking for Love" seemed to be just about NOT what I wanted to say haha).
Thanks for clarifying.

I remember the romance playing out quite differently depending on whether you were friends/rivals, however.
I had a friendship romance but I'm going to meta-game both romances and make a list of all dialogue options pertaining to the romance on both sides.I'll link in the in the OP when I'm done to show that the tones force the protagonist to adopt a single mindset pertaining to the romance path.

Alistair - Establish relationship intent as casual sex or something deeper before sex talk/ Middle: either he'll become king or stay a warden which affects the relationship stability/ End: The protagonist will either be queen, consort, fellow warden lover or they can break up.
Wait a second, you can have casual sex with Alistair? Please, tell me how to achieve this, because when I pressured him to have sex before he was ready he just got pissed and I got a bunch of disapproval from him.
