And really bioware I am hearing that new gun sucks as well. It's not fair my credits is going to go to waste on yet another crappy weapon. This terrible store + awful guns = not happy players

Any weight increase on Carnifex is a really bad idea. In fact I'll swap to Wraith instead of using Carnifex on my Adepts or Shadow. So don't nerf it. Buff the other pistols instead.

Here's a crazy idea. Instead raise Wraith clip to 4 and decrease paladin weight to have it same has carnifex. Maybe just maybe ppl would use them more.

Yep, these are fair enough, won't really make a huge difference, these weapons haven't been destroyed. Hopefully the forum becomes less rageful for now haha. I only used the carnifex on casters when I did use it, so now I probably won't when I have talon + hurricane with ULM. As foe the pirana, I usually reload before the clips run out anyway unless shooting at boss enemies, will will have to wait until I play with it of course to judge properly!

Carnifex change seems entirely unnecessary. If anything the Carnifex is overrated... possibly due to the fact that 200% recharge speed is largely overrated since many don't seem to understand that it gives diminishing returns. As is it's less effective than a variety of other options, such as the Acolyte (or, in many cases, simply using heavier weapons).

The Piranha change (combined with a damage nerf... which you guys already implemented) is exactly the one I suggested previously in the Balance All The Things discussion group (and then retracted because it was pointed out that the clip size change would be inconsistent with the graphic of the Piranha itself showing an 8-round barrel).  If flavor consistency isn't an issue though, I agree that it's a step in the right direction.  Changing the clip size would hurt its sustained DPS and effectiveness against bosses, for whom the Piranha's spread is not much of an issue.

Carnifex weight change should be accompanied by a Phalanx damage buff. That would be perfect.

Normally I would never suggest a nerf, but since the decisions seems to already be made I might as well propose something. A Piranha ROF decrease would be more appropriate than a magazine decrease because a 6-shot Piranha will still kill most things in a single clip. Not a major ROF decrease, just a little.

Noooo... Leave them alone they're awesome as they are.
Make other weapons better like the Piranha and Carnifex. Create a harder difficulty but don't nerf.

I say no to nerf!

The Carnifex nerf will hit the casters the harder. That's the only weapon I ever use with them. Now they all are going to negativaley affected. WTF

They intentionally bloated the packs with garbage no one wants to use, so ppl with crazily spam PSPs (either with in-game money or real one), to get something useful. And of course, ppl will those weapons. That's not a brainer.

Now they wanna trash the  weapons they wanted ppl to go after. Brilliant.

How about makiing all the weapons more apealing ?

Honestly, while the pirahna change may be reasonable, I'd really rather see more shotguns viable in, and beyond bronze. Few are, and even fewer are caster friendly.

The Carnifex weight increase isn't bad. If I can still have 180% CD bonus, I can live with it as long as the damage stays the same.

Re-adds strategy, and cost/reward models, without revoking what made it excellent and what will make it continue to be excellent.




The Piranha has low damage with a larger number of shots per round. If you’re going to lower the shots can we get a bump in damage?

Carnifex - It will slow down power users slightly but not end of world.

Piranha - I'd rather leave the clip size to 8 but decrease the total amount of ammo. I'd rather run to ammo boxes more (a firm penalty) than to remove this guns power.

If you have to nerf the Piranha, clip size seems a fair way to do it. Leave the weight so it can still be a caster shotty. Leave the damage and ROF so it can still be one of the FEW weapons good against bosses. That sort of thing.

This carnifex nerf is terrible. For me at least, the only characters that use the carnifex are my AA and HA. Two classes that in no way need a nerf, quite the opposite in fact (warp needs a base AoE explosion on contact, say a meter or so just to eliminate the 'missing' issue. and singularity needs to bypass shields and needs a slightly bigger base radius.)

This carnifex nerf is uncalled for.

I don't really even use the carnifax anymore because it is outclassed, so I'm not sure why the nerf? Also, piranha nerf is prolly for the good, but saddens my destroyer.

Buff the deciple so casters can have a decent shotgun, now that Prianha is nerfed.
