Seems fine, although I still prefer a 50% damage reduce to armor. The Piranha's performance still makes me wonder if including the AT-12 will make any difference since Piranha is basically a 6 shot AT-12, unless you buff the AT-12 damage massively but then if you do that you'll make Claymore pointless.........

M6 weight increase seems ok too since it'll be closer to the Paladin and that makes Paladin more attractive.

I believe that you should also include some buffs to other underpowered shotguns to balance out, like Katana & Scimitar. Also will be glad if could buff Wraith damage a bit to make up for its speed (its an UR, more damage doesn't hurt).

Also I feel like I have to voice out my opinion about the Argus here. I'll ignore the insane recoil, slow ROF and even more insane weight since those weaknesses make the weapon what it is: a heavy, slow but powerful burst fire mattock. But the latter is not true. It's very far away from "powerful". It needs a lot more damage to justify all those weaknesses above. You have to ask: "If I were to compare the original mattock and its burst fire brother, what makes me want to equip the heavier, slower, recoil crazy variant over the original?" The answer has to be damage. A lot of damage. It's the same weight as the Striker, PPR, and is heavier than Revenant. By logic, it has to be as good if not better.

Change its damage from [130-160] to [170-200]. Even with that change, its slow ROF means it's sustained DPS will still be lower than the Mattock which is lighter, however it'll have a higher burst DPS and better close range performance which will be the winning factor over the mattock.

For the carniflex, It's bad. The paladin encumbrance is (1.25 - 0.7) and you want to increase it to (1.2-0.7) ? After this, you will nerf the paladin? Leave it or increase it like this (1.1 - 0.6), like the talon, the scorpion and the arc pistol.

Rather not nerf either at all, but I suppose it's inevitable. I think every nerf should coincide with a buff for something that needs it though.

Thanks Eric, I really appreciate that you+the team care to keep the game interesting on a weekly basis, and...actually responding to us and giving this heads-up.

It's so different compared to where I just was - EAsports' NHL13 forum - where paying customers aren't treated with the best of respect, especially when they're paying for a broken and seriously unfinished product.

As long as the PIranha is still a viable caster weapon, I'm ok. Although I prefer not touching the Carnifex, but I think I can live with the increased weight.

Eric, if you are going to decrease the clip size of the Piranha Shotgun,

You should also reduce the encumbrance of the shotgun also since it is less weight by having less shells.

I would say a 5-10% weight reduction on the piranha would be reasonable since it would weigh less without those 2 extra shots in the clip.

Carnifex weighting the same as paladinis still a better option due to clip size and will not diminish its usage. Why introduce a nerf that will not accomplish its intent?

I'm puzzled by this as well. There is still no better alternative, so basically the increase in weight will make life a fraction more difficult for those who worry about cooldown. No other result.

Please don't touch the Carnifex. It is fine as it is. It has strong nostalgic undertones for me as it was the gun I exclusively used for weeks and weeks when I started playing back in April. I still use it on my chain-overloading human engineer now. I threw real money at the RNG in hopes of upgrading it. It was the gun that I really worked hard for. I fell in love with it.

The Carn will still be an extremely viable option even with the SLIGHT weight increase. The Piranha nerf seems fair too. People will just have to learn to reload cancel to get full use out of it.

for the people who like guns being nerf, why do you need to do this for a co-op game only thing nerfing does in this game is handcap the rest of the team, so one guy get most of the kill and only uses one gun so what everyone on the team gets the same amont of creds, xp who cares, you can have a N7 rating of 100mil and still couldn't hit the broad side of barn. so tell me why shoot your self in the foot by making a good gun suck, don't care about the carnifex, but with the piranha i need ever shot i can get with it.
p.s. how about fix the maps insted of nerfing guns. don't like being shot by Geth rockets that fly though a wall, or some one droping the object on hydra and it falls though the map

The Carnifex changes don't seem too hard to stomach.
No more 200% pwr recharge on the carnifex for many classes w/o ULM... as it should be. (in my best Samara :lol:)

Thanks to the balance team that goes over the numbers and play testing that may be involved for a better game. You get far more complaints than you do deserved support.

There are no shells. Thermal clips do not weigh anything, I believe.

Don't do any thing to the Piranha, green light on the Camifex.

It's amazing to see how many who complained about the nerves are happy with them because they are just slight nerves. If it was about cooking, I'd say "cook under a low flame".
Doesn't matter any more that the "logic" behind the nerves is questionable and the Carnifex is going to be similar to Paladin in weight, that at least is more powerful, giving a lot of troubles to adepts especially to Asari. Have you ever tried to kill a phantom with a Carnifex? It was difficult even using Stasis. It's very likely that you are going to face a greater cooldown that will be deathly when you are alone against two phantoms (because you are doing the lone wolf or because your mates are down or because the map is just small).

Please give us preview on the buffs we're about to receive. You said it yourself that Eagle will be buffed? How?

Also when conducting your tests you should try a Scimitar vs Piranha game under Silver. Then you'll see just how much Scimitar needs a buff.

About the Eagle,I would like that you buff it like Hurricane (from zero to hero)
