It includes appearances mods for DA:O and DA2 with Mature ratings. I don't care for them, but OP should definitely check them out.

There is this place called Dragon Age Nexus, you know.

I'm a console gamer (xbox 360). And honestly if I did play on PC, I wouldn't do mods - they can screw up the game. If you pay 60 bucks for a game, you should be satisfied with the entirety of it without the need for mods. But since so many people had to mod their Wardens and Hawkes, I figured I'd ask them to share what they did so that maybe Bioware staff could look it over and say, "Oh that'd be cool to include in DA3."
But, honestly, whenever I ask for Bioware to put this or that into a game, I always get the "do a mod" reply. I think a lot of Dragon Age players don't realize that tons of console gamers play the game too. Technically we cannot mod. I've heard there are ways around it for the 360, but it's a very bad idea and will most likely crash your game. (Not picking on you personally, it's just a very common misunderstanding.)

Also, you can mod DA2 on Xbox to an extent. You can change the appearance/stats of weapons and armor, for example. There's no toolset for DA2 on PC - just fan made tools, some of which I know works on Xbox.
Finally I think there is a joy in making your own creations in games. For me modding is a natural extension of crafting, and what makes most games much more fun. It also doesn't cost any extra money, and gives you the chance to befriend & work with other modders, who tends to be smart and creative people.

^ I think the major reason BioWare don't put M-rated character customization into the main game is to avoid barking from rabid dogs like FOX News.
...and every other news network.

Notable mentions are Triss and Ves in that respect DA Leliana and Bella ME with Ash and Miranda is a good place to start as examples

LOL Okay I just need to point out that this is not true. I mod 360 saves all the time and my game has never crashed. Games don't really "crash" on 360 anyway, unless your system is crapping out. Now if you make a mistake somehow you might corrupt your save, but that's something you only do as a noob anyway.
The only downer about modding 360 saves is you can only work with what's already "within" the game; you can't introduce new content created by other gamers (as far as I'm aware).

I'd rather just voice my opinion on the Bioware forums about things I'd like to see in the third installment of Dragon Age instead of shotgun the mod approach for every game that comes out.

Regardless, those who mod *are* helpful in this thread if they'd like to share screenshots of what they've created. As I said, it'd be cool to see the different types of hair/clothing/armor that Bioware could potentially adopt for DA3.
