So, I made a poll for us, fans. Are you agree or not?

Shepard is dead. The devs even went out of their way to point out that the "alive" ending could very well be a last breath. Whatever this new game is, those who buy it will be playing as someone new.

Shepards story is over. It's time to let someone else get into the spotlight.

I disagree, with this horrible ending, he deserve one more chance again. This is, why I made a  3th choice. Someone want him alive (playable)  and someone dead (new character).

It depends, I would like to see him, but it's not a necessity in my opinion. It all depends on the concept of the future game.

My Shepard wants to retire after ME3. Let him rest. Maybe make him an admiral as NPC if they really set a story after ME3.

tbh if you ever saw someone die, this wasn´t a last breath! and why the hell call a file "shepard alive" when she/he isn´t?:)

This.

It is a big galaxy. There is plenty of room for more than one hero.

Technically it's too much hard work, just only bring Shepard back as 'cameo' in Mass effect 4.. because there is so many variable, such as his appearance, class, choices expressly me3 ending..
So they have to bring him back as protagonist again or make him dead.

I belive, bioware promised, there will be one more story of Shepard.

If they want make another hero.. then it's just a big gambling.
Old franchise with whole new character?
And inversters agree with that?:crying:

Come on! Even they don't call their own franchise as 'trilogy' anymore!

Yeah, like the Warden in DA2, but no actual appearance.

I belive, 'Trilogy' was just for Marketing//

when they made ME1, they didn't have any plan about trilogy's ending..
It's not a trilogy. there was no 'plan'.
That's why ME2 feels so empty and isolate.

well, we can say, ME1, 2, 3 was First chapter of Trilogy.
And now we will make 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9!
YEAY!!

As I said, it all depends on the concept of the future game. If the game takes place 200 years after ME 3.... you know what I'm trying to say

I can't be the only one here that thinks a Mass Effect game without Shepard is a preposterous idea...

I'd rather they leave the series with this trilogy rather than try (and most likely fail) to capture the feelings we got from Shepard & Co with another PC.

No. Bioware has always stated that ME3 is the last part with Shepard.

In any case, I think the story should have as little connection to the orignal trilogy as possible.

Well, KOTOR didn't have Han Solo or Luke Skywalker.

I'm not too fussed about Shepard, but I don't want to see the end of the other characters (Ash, Garrus, Wrex, Liara) so i'd rather just continue Shepards story, I can understand why some don't want to though.

I would happily seal Shep in an escape pod and jettison it into the nearest star if it meant the next game would leave Shep alone.

Normally I'd agree, problem is Shepards exit from the Mass Effect Universe was a piece of crap, so one more try please
