In a totally constructive effort to help EA determine just how much sex Dragon Age III - The Pointy End needs (or rather, wether additional features are necessary at all) I have decided to introduce THE SEX WATCH. This will be updated Bi-daily. Or Bi weekly. Or Bi something. Purpose of THE SEX WATCH is to count number of threads having to do with romance, LIs, Sex, Erotica currently on front page of DAIII General Discussion.

make 8th. I'm not man enough to see wtf is going on in there. This is

Curiously, number of various threads about sex, romances, and LIs is again at 7 out of 22. I would have guessed it currently being a weekend's night at US East Coast would bring this number up some. Will 7 prove to be an average over longer period? Only time will tell!

Out of 42 threads, 11 are about LIs, sex, romances and relationsips.
!!! As you surely noticed, The Sex Watch is EXPANDING! No more will I settle with counting topics on 1st page but also shall I dive in moist, murky depths of page 2 as well. This broader, in depth scan covers grand total of 42 threads, stickies excluded. Last thread on page 2 had activity 5 hours ago. This makes pretty active forum! The percentage of sexitimes is in decline!! 42 threads, only 11 are about LIs and whatnot. This is barely over one quarter and clearly below numbers last week. I estimate very slow, steady decline followed by sharp increase once BW releases a picture of something with a clevage.

Out of 22 threads, only four deal with LIs, sex and all that good stuff. It has been a while since I did any specific investigative journalism around the matter but seems number of these threads has been in decline for some time!! However, it is questionable if this is sign of peole growing less certain DA franchise should essentially be about sex and romance. It seems more likely conversation is merely growing more contained in most popular of these threads. The most popular F/F LILILI - thread has 9.1k views and 700 replies. This is about 400% more replies than - the sticky thread- about the new game engine! Yawza!
Personal favorite thread: Gimme more touchy feely in DA3
Based on these three surveys, content revolving around LIs,
Sex,Romances remains more talked about than rest of game's alleged
features combined. All signs point to one and only one
possible conclusion; BW would be wise to turn DA 3 into a light
erotica(or porn?) game with heavy soap opera and teen drama elements.
Think Emmanuelle meets Roswell meets Day time TV.

It would be awesome if EA/BW could introduce a very sophisticated DRM type of a watchdog program with one and only one rather unique and innovative function: it sniffs through BiowareSocial forums, detects usernames who average more than 4 (four) posts/year combined in various " Hurrrr gief romances LI sex scenes nude digital ladies durr drooollll " - threads in any subforum connected to ME or DA franchises. Then, this watchdog program would proceed to disable any any all possible romancing/LI options from accounts associated to these user names in any current or future BW releases. With possibly significant exception of male dwarf-male dwarf romances.
This is actually type of a DRM I'd be ready to kickstart pretty savagely. You hear that EA? Moneys.

After giving it some throught I realized this makes a pretty interesting phenomena deserving a slightly less trollesque " for them lulz" type of an OP.
..So here's some additional content(DLC, if ye will!)
.I'm just tired of front pages of up and coming titles that are always littered with same slightly disturbing sex talk over and over and over and over again. I double dare you..check DA III front page at any given moment between now and release of the game and you won't find less than 33% of threads on it somehow connected to humping them digital ladies. Or making them digital ladies look humpworthy.
It's actually pretty interesting disortion of community feedback. If Bioware actually, truly and literally LISTENED TO THEIR FANS and catered in dedicated fashion to largest and most obvious needs of their fancommunity, they'd stop with all this RPG foolishness and delivered a honest non-apologizing fantasy porn game with heavy soap opera elements. I'm being 100% serious; Discussion approaching or touching this particular.. aspect of life is by huge marigin most dominant out of any and all other possible features or aspects of the game. Game purely based around porn and soap opera would be best equipped to fulfill these demands, wishes and..needs.
