Since this is based on the Frostbite Engine, will the get rid of the cartoony style?

Artists make everything you can see on your screen when the game is running. An engine doesn't decide to make swords really huge, or to make darkspawn look silly.

When someone says "rock music" does it also make you wonder which specific sub-genre of rock they have on mind, and until they narrow it down do you have absolutely no idea what sort of music they are talking about?hoorayforicecream wrote...

Yes. "Rock music" is a term that is so broad that it has become practically meaningless. Rock n Roll started in the 50's. The vocal stylings of Jimmy Preston and Elvis Presley are extremely different than Queen or Joan Jett, yet they all qualify as rock music. If somebody likes a specific subgenre or band that I thought was rock music, and then says "I don't like rock music", then I get confused.

That's interesting take. To me if someone uses the term, i tend to interpret it as them referring to 'mainstream rock' -- as, if they mean something more specific/rare, then it warrants adding a distinction but otherwise it can be skipped.hoorayforicecream wrote...

Origins was neither gritty nor realistic.JimmyTheProthean wrote...
I'm well aware of the distinction between Art style and game engine, but my point is the Frostbite engine allows for very realistic graphics, compared to other game engines. So i think it would be a shame if they did not opt to go for the DA Origins gritty realistic style again on the new engine.

In what way is comparing a walking corpse from one game and a healthy woman from the othe a valid comparison?Elton John is dead wrote...
