I am very excited about Inquisition but I am extremely cautious and skeptical about certain elements.
The Mage implementation leaves a lot of questions wide open and if DA2 is to be looked at there's a lot lacking. I cannot really play comfortably anything other than a mage so if the implementation feels forced and just not fitting I will be extremely disappointed....not to mention unlikely to buy further DLC and perhaps no more BioWare games considering the stunts pulled by ME3 in the whole picture.
Aside from that I do appreciate the developers' interaction and ongoing discussion with us on these boards. A lot of what they said is reassuring and regardless what happens with the game I will not think less of them individually because I understand a whole lot is out of their control. So here's hoping that the company itself and the game's major public faces that appear in all the interviews and marketing and so on are equally reasonable and do not blatantly try to lie and deceive us. I just don't have it in me to go through another nightmare like ME3.
So, it probably needs to be said....

Honestly, I have no interest what so ever in DA3, but I've enjoyed Allen and Co.'s insights. I wish the Mass Effect team would come on the boards and talk to us, tell us their vision behind the end of the trilogy. Maybe it really wasn't so bad. Maybe everyone is missing something they hoped we would catch onto by now. I don't know. And not knowing is the worst part.
Not everything is a guarded national secret, you know. You make video games. It's ok to be open and transparent with us. It really goes a long way.

It's always nice to see people in a company engage with it's playerbase. It feels like something that's been happening less and less over the years.
