She should appear again since she's a pretty popular character.

The only certainty is that wherever she is she disapproves.

This is the part of your post I agree with.

I disagree only on the basis that she will almost certainly look drastically different than her Origins appearance.

It could work, of course. But Morrigan's original appearance was said to represent the world of Thedas and the tone of the Dragon Age games.

I know that her look had she appeared in DA2 would of been atrociously horrid and very terribad.

If her look was updated, sharp, and still represented the original vision behind the character, I'd be up for her returning.

If not, however...I'd vote for her remaining solely kept in Dragon Age:Origins, which remains in my opinion as one of the best games ever made, certainly one of the best games I've ever played.

I'm more interested in Morrigan's personality, goals and overall character arc than her appearence, to be honest, though I'd like them to keep it as faithful to her DA:O self as possible (unless the plot demands otherwise, of course).

Morrigan shouldn't have appeared in Dragon Age: Origin because her appearance there was different from her concept art.

You can change the look of the character without completely changing her apperance to an unrecognizable state. Take Flemeth for example; looked nothing like she did in Origins but I knew it was her the first time she appeard in DA2.

Emphasis on the parenthesized part of the quote, yes.

If there's a reason behind the appearance change, I'm all for it. Like Flemeth's, it made sense what with the taking other forms and such things.

To be fair, the first time you saw her in DA II she kinda was a dragon.

I dont like her because she seem very cold selfish somewhat leaning to evil side of things.

I would just like to point out that Morrigan looked nothing like the trailers for DAO, either. She was kind of... fugly in those. And Leliana was just a palette swap. *shudders*

I think she could look amazing in the new art style, even closer to the concept art. That is if they spend enough time tweaking and don't just swap over the code, though (like they did to alistair...)

I don't think popularity alone is a good reason to bring a character back. Especially afte a big send off.
While I'd like her to come back, I'd want it to be because she has a reason to have come out of retirement.
