I wasn't all that thrilled with Tallis, I would personally like new characters or less popular characters return as companions. She's ok, I guess. But, I didn't find the story of Mark of the Assassin all that interesting, except that you got to fight a Wyvern, possibly run into Bann Teagan and Isolde, and get to have your sibling as a usable companion prior to The Last Straw.

I read the first couple pages alot or people said they dislike her because they find her annoying, because she follows the qun, and because of what happened at the end of the dlc
would you say that sums it up?

Yeah... No more Tallis. She was a horribly written character. The DLC was the Tallis show and it was painful to watch.

The writing, her portrayal, her voice actress / model, the forced nature of the character and the inability to do anything but accept her presence. To name a few things.

No, no, no. No. Please no. Unless her writing will be greatly improved. She was not funny, but annoying. She was full of hyporcrisy because she had to be awesome and deep and feeling at the same time. Her language did not fit the world somehow. She sounded like a teenager had written her (with saying things like "that weird old guy").

You know I don't think I particularly hated her or anything but for being a character in a Bioware game, I couldn't have given 2 cents about her.

So I'd rather they create a new character with a more interesting personality/background. She's like a Cassandra to me. I don't really care much for her either but at least there is some potential exploration with her character.

I wouldn't mind, but I think the majority of people would really prefer her not to be in the game let alone a companion. Maybe if she's optional it could work.

Definitely want Tallis back.

I think every companion should be killable and optional. So far Zevran was the only one but it was worth for nothing because he appeared in DA2 anyway... Shame. (Hope Anders won't be back like Zevran after I killed him)
