Indeed.  This thread does not advocate support or admiration of beards and other facial hair that are simply products of laziness and contempt for grooming.

Your haphazard, embarrassing comic-con neckbeards need not apply.

Real facial hair, beards or mustaches, are a responsibility.  They are something you own and take care of, requiring additional (not less) grooming than clean shaven.

That is what we in this thread respect!

A real beard, the mark of a true man is a testament to his discipline and a constant display of his victory over mother nature and the reckless growth she has cursed him with. An ode to his mastery of the razor. Trimmed perfection oozing such masculinity and rugged charm that the mere sight of it might cause ovulation.

Legit too embarrassed to go even one day without shaving any and all traces of neckbeard in the morning before walking out the front door.
