Batarian in OP Post doesn't seem right. In the character select screen his armor appears to be reddish. Might want to check that out. And yes I hope someone can replicate the Dragoon Armor for the Vanguard.

Primary Color: B-16
Highlight Color: C-18
Secondary Color: A-17
Pattern: Stripe 1
Pattern Color: C-16
Lights: B-1

6:08/6:26 Freeze framed.

*NOTES*

Stripe 1 Pattern is required with Pure White(A-16) against Pure Gray(B-16) Primary to make the Shoulder Stripe almost completely invisible. No other combinations work(I spent awhile testing in differen't lighting conditions in the Vancouver map). Also the Secondary Color is not Pure Black(A-16), but instead A-17. You can clearly tell when you freeze frame with the above video at 6:26, since you get a very up-close shot of his abs.

The Highligh Color was a choice between C-17/C-18, Pure White(C-16) made the Armor look too Silvery White. I tried the Oranges and Peaches along A/C-1/4 and it eaither made the armor Dark Peachy Orange or no visible difference. C-17 barely shows a "dirty rust" while C-18 gives that Golden Rust at the right angles while not decreasing the Armor Brightness. Likewise B-18 is too Dark Brown.

Lights are obviously B-1.

For Pattern Color, did you mean C16?

Yes, I edited and fixed.

See the testing thread for fine details, along with the Build and Weapon Mod explanations.

N7 Shadow Infiltrator:
Primary Color: A16
Highlight Color: A17
Secondary Color: A16
Pattern: Stripe 2
Pattern Color: A1
Lights: C1
Skin Tone: NA
Weapon: None Displayed (but this color setup looks really cool when using the N7 Piranha Shotgun)

For Asari Adept and Vanguard:
I think the Highlight Color should be A17. Setting it to A16 just makes it look way too dark. A17 seems to be closer to that of the character select screen. IDK, I could be wrong. It just appears to me that A16 for the Highlight Color is too dark. For the Lights I go with B2, because it fits with the Secondary Color.

Nice post, I have been creating some of the original character models from the game, though they are not the same they are somewhat same and get the basic bad**s feeling of them. Also I get some charesteristics out of the Sp characters and use them to inspire some of mine characters though I got to admit, some of the picture MP characters look cool too. So keep up with the good work.

The thing that makes it difficult is that many of the characters in their character select screen picture have some or other light source shining on them which can cause certain parts of the character to appear as a different color. For example on certain parts of the Salarian it appears as though the "Secondary Color" should be a blue type color, but I believe this is just a light source that is causing that effect. I believe the "Secondary Color" on the Salarian should be black.

This would be so much easier if BioWare just release a "Color Theme" option for the characters and one of the "Themes" is "DEFAULT", which will make the character look like their character select screen picture.

I've been trying to re-create the N7 characters since they released and I think I have them now. I used both the Earth promotional images and the in-game models as a reference.

Secondary: B16
Pattern: Stripe 1
Pattern Color: A1
Lights: B3

N7 Destroyer:

Primary: A16
Highlight: C16
Secondary: A16
Pattern: Stripe 2
Pattern Color: A1
Lights: C1

N7 Demolisher:

Primary: A16
Highlight: C2
Secondary: A17
Pattern: Stripe 1
Pattern Color: A1
Lights: C1

N7 Paladin:

Primary: A16
Highlight: A16
Secondary: A16
Pattern: Stripe 2
Pattern Color: A1
Lights: B1

N7 Shadow:

Primary: A16
Highlight: A16
Secondary: A16
Pattern: Stripe 2
Pattern Color: A1
Lights: C1

N7 Slayer:

Primary: A16
Highlight: A16
Secondary: A16
Pattern: Stripe 2
Pattern Color: A1
Lights: C1

Necro, but its faster than making another thread for the same thing. I'm trying to figure out how to make the Talon like the selection screen, but nothing I try looks right. Any suggestions?

Also, it would be cool to see this updated with all the new characters, but one thing at a time I guess.

Do you want your awesome new alien to look just like the guys on the Selection Screen? Well, look no further! You can find all of that information right here, right now!

(and of course, I could use some help setting this up, as some of them are vague to even me >_>)

All of these set-ups utilize the Color Key displayed here. So A1, B16, etc. are in fact colors. Now, on to the content!

If their name is bolded, it means that they've been verified and completed.

Also, if you see a detail that is incorrect, please do not hesitate to correct me, as I've been wrong before!

I don't think that's the right color scheme judging from what I see in the game's character's selection screen.

To my eyes, it seems more like:
Primary: A1
Highlight: A16
Secondary: B16
Pattern: Camouflage
P Color: A16
Lights: B1(Brawler, Slasher) or B4(Soldier, Sentinel)
Weapon: Kishock Harpoon Gun(Soldier, Sentinel), Piranha(Brawler), Most Interesting Batarian Pose(Slasher)

The secondary and pattern colors both seem like a dark grey to me but that's not in the pallet.

Ok, I know that this is an old thread, but I'm happy because I have a bug that allows me to set characters' colors as close as possible! And also I'm pissed off that there are very few palette colors because for some characters it's impossible to make them look exactly like in selection screen, for example Quarians, Asari (Justicar is an exception) and some others have that strange dark colors that I just can't match. Quarians have that dark purple color. I think it would be possible to make this pattern by setting primary color to black and highlight to light purple. But unfortunately highlight is SO weak that it almost impossible to notice it. Here's my glitch:

Posted Image

It's funny and I don't exactly know what causes it. It happens at random, but extremely useful for me. It applies to any character. As you can see, my character is rotated to his side, but for some reason there is selection model too.
On the left picture I had random color set, but later (right picture) adjusted it to his default look.

Right know I will only post standard human classes, because I haven't unlocked everything for other races yet. I will be showing two screens for each character. The right one is glitched selection model, on the left is my result. Here are settings:

Human Male Adept/Sentinel

Posted Image

Primary color: A16
Highlight: A11
Secondary color: A17
Pattern: Stripe 1
Pattern color: C16
Lights: B3
Weapon: M-3 Predator pistol

Human Female Adept/Sentinel

Posted Image

For some reason, she has the same settings as male on the right. She should have a Stripe 2 pattern. The rest is the same as above.

Human Male Soldier/Vanguard

Posted Image

Primary color: B9
Highlight: B2
Secondary color: C11
Pattern: Stripe 1
Pattern color: C16
Lights: A4
Weapon: M-8 Avenger assault rifle

Human Female Soldier/Vanguard

Posted Image

The same as above, except:

Primary color: B1

Human Male Engineer/Infiltrator

Posted Image

Primary color: A16
Highlight: A11
Secondary color: A16
Pattern: Stripe 1
Pattern color: A1
Lights: B3
Weapon: M-8 Avenger assault rifle

Human Female Engineer/Infiltrator

Posted Image

Absolutely the same as above, although she carries M-27 Scimitar shotgun.

Well, that's it for now. When I unlock all customization options for other characters, I will add them too.
