But most of all I want all my companions to be realistic, to have real motivations like Morrigan, Alistair or Anders. Do not add extra companions like Oghren, Zevran or Merril if they don't have real motivations connecting them to the main plot. Less companions but better developed ones please.

To be specific though, I'd like a demon companion.

2. Ex-Tal Vasoth/ex-Qunari Saarebas. So essentially Maraas in mage form, I'd love it. He/she should be a kossith of course.
3. Tevinter mage, who would be the more offensive mage. If you make him/her the Starscream, I'll squee! Add to that a romance and I'll giggle like a moron and pre-order the game.
4. A dwarf character, definitely. Make her a female~
5. An elf. We need an elf character too. Mage him/her a rogue, maybe on the younger side, a really energetic ball of... um, energy. Not annoyingly energetic though... and not stupid, definitely don't make her stupid.

1. I'd like to see shale return or have some sort of golem equivlant. shale can't be the only one of her kind out there.

2. More than 2 dwarven party members. some one prehapse with a tie to the royal family or from the other dwarven city, the one they talk about that's become lost and still has dwarves in it.

3. A dark spawn similar to the Architect. Be nice to flush out some story with them that doesn't have them be all grunting monsters. Be nice to learn more about the talking dark spawn.

4. The god child from the first game. Very much wann see what the kid can do. Also wanna see what they will end up being like if they are a half dwarf.

5. a grew warden that isnt a warrior or mage. We've seen very few rouges in the ranks of the grey wardens. you get allistar and or haws brother in the game as a grey warden or bethany. I've yet to see a warden that was a rouge as a playable character. On a side note i'd like to become a warden again as well for my main character. I know there isnt really a need but i'd still like too.

Just now thought of the 5 companion I'd want...SANDAL...seriously there's obvisiously more to this dwarf than just enchanting. How great would it be to see him kick butt rather than just come in at the end and see piles of enemies around him

I'd make a concession for characters like Cullen who were peripheral NPCs, but I definitely don't want former companions back.
