Ok, so i just bought this game today, and i turned it to the lowest quality. its eating up 50% of my memory, im only running google chrom, antivirus and Dragon age, and its unplayable because of the lag. At first when the cinema started, it was fine -  no lag at all. but when that knight dude started mentioning the test, i starting lagging REAL badly. Im even lagging as i type. there is NO problem with my computer, I restored not too long ago. My video card is Nvidia GForce 8300 128mb, Windows XP service pack 3, 2 GHz, 2 gig of ram, and direct x is compatible. is anyone else haqving a lag problem?
EDIT : I just closed dragon age origins and now im not lagging at all....

What's your CPU? You list 2 GHz, but what type of chip? And your video card is not a gaming grade card either. So you could have a twofold problem on your hands there.

Well, i just restarted Dragon age, and at first, it was running VERY smoothly. No lag whatsoever. But after i talked with the mouse, i gradually started lagging. I got spikes here and there, and they became more and mroe often. in the end, it was unplayable again.

I suspect much has to do with your video card. It's not meant to play modern high-end video games and I imagine it's starting to choke on the game after you've been running it for a short time.

Get a new video card. Seriously, that one in your rig is just not a gaming card. If you want to improve your gaming experience, you'll need a new card.

Don't be silly.  It won't run correctly on the stock power supply in a branded PC, so needs a $60 PSU upgrade as well.  Keep your suggestions more sensible, really, such as the HD 4670.

That 9300 simply isn't MEANT for any game play usage.  You should EXPECT to have trouble from trying to use it for something it wasn't designed for.
