Known Problem, its nothing actually. Just turn off the game and PS3, count to 5 turn it back on and everything will be back like normal.

Oh I get that a few times on PC as well. Just restart the game. its nothing more than a hiccup in the network.

This has happened to me a few times now in the past just reset your PS3 leave it for five minutes switch it back on this should sort the problem out.

if aint one thing ......now i gotta re-activate my online pass..i've already used the redeem code i got when i brought the game...so now i have to go to the playstation store and buy one......damn bioware i been buying your guys games since i was 12 with a job as the paperboy...why you guys and EA trying to fleece me for an extra 20 all of a sudden

I get that get the online pass message every time I switch on the game. I just cancel it and go on as usual. I've also gotten that reset in the mp a few times. I just log out of mp and go back in. It may take two or three go's but after that, my stuff and levels are back.

I had the same N7 issue, but all you have to do is switch to the "GALAXY AT WAR" map for a few secs then switch back. No need to quit the game or turn off the unit.
For the online pass I choose cancel & I still have  my full manifest.
Was passed on to me by fellow PS3ers.
