Male Human Mage
I wanted to be Male Elf Mage but I hate the Dalish.
So being a Dalish Mage versus a Elf Circle Mage is a dealbreaker.

I was a bearded human warrior in Origins, a bearded human warrior in DA2, and I'll most likely be a bearded human warrior in Inquisition as well.
To start, female elf mage. Then ALL!

Given the romance revelations, I KNOW people are changing their minds. ![]()
Human Female warrior first. Reaver is the specialty. Voiced by Alix Wilton Regan
Then Female Qunari Mage. Voiced by Sumalee Montano
I can now say, with some certainty that I will play a male, dwarven templar with the british voice who romances Cassandra. Probably wielding a great sword.
DA:O was a bearded male mage because they were so crazy powerful 1st play through. 2nd playthrough Elf rogue.
DA:2 Bearded male rogue 1st play through, Elf mage 2nd playthrough.
DAI:I No idea what to do. Thinking bearded Human Male 2 handed warrior. But maybe Human Mage 1st playthrough. But I like being a rogue so I can open up all the doors and chests without switching characters.
decisions decisions
I'm planning to play a Human female inquisitor, seeing as my preferred LIs are not gated in that direction. Have not yet decided between the British and American voices. Rogue class for the win, as I loved it whilst playing DA2, and there is my OCD need to explore around, and unlock every chest, door, cupboard, safe, trap-door..etc.., which is better doing that on your own than relying on a campanion.
Is it just me, or does the picture for the human female rogue up on the DAI website, almost kind of shows her packing.. uh.. equipment..at a particular bottom part of her anatomy?
For my first game, can't decide between :
- a female qunari mage (with some badass horns, let's face it, it's mainly for that reason that I love qunaris ehehe)
- a male elf warrior or rogue
- a female dwarf rogue
- or a female elf warrior, because I really want to romance Solas ![]()
haaan it's so hard. I suppose I'll decide at the last moment. About their appearances, all I know is that my male elf will have long hair, either a very pale blond or black, ice blue eyes or moss green, and the Ghilan'nain or June tattoo. For the others it will depend on the choices we have.
Male, dual-wielding Dwarf Rogue
I am not interested in the Elves, as I loved the City Elves & hate the Dalish, and the Qunari don't interest me at all.
Female elf rogue.
Female human mage
Qunari Male Sword and Shield.
1st character: Human Male Mage. I'll spend a long time in the face maker, so I have no idea what he'll look like. Maybe Tom Hiddleston's Loki... but then I'd have to roleplay as Loki. Actually, that just instantly sounded awesome. Still need to look into the specializations.
2nd character: Female Qunari Rogue. Gonna model her of Akasha from Dota2 (Queen of Pain).
Something like this:
- In DA:O I was a male human Noble Warden who tanked everything with a Maul and gave no fucks.
- I did not play DA2.
- In DA:I I'll play the multiplayer first so I'll be the Legionnaire who insists on headbutting everything. For Single Player? Probably another Human Warrior, I dunno.
Not sure who is my first character but one of these:
-Qunari lady warrior.
-Qunari guy mage.
- Elf guy rogue.
- Human lady ?.
Tentatively in this order:
Female dwarf warrior, sword and shield (I want more details before choosing the specializations)
Female human mage
Female elf rogue, possibly archer
Female qunari mage
After those four (assuming I stick it out through so many) one of each race/class combo, plus a male qunari rogue, a male elf mage.
First round will be a male human mage, appearance to be determined by how entertaining the CC is. As for specialization, I don't know yet - if there's something Force Mage-ish maybe that.
Second round will be either a male human rogue or a female qunari mage - it depends on how reactive the story/NPCs feel to the first character's race and class. Depending on both the story reactivity and if I hear interesting things about the more heavily gated LI-specific content, I might do a female elf playthough (or partial playthrough, at least) at some point as well, but I never managed to finish the game with one of those in Origins, so I'm not sure how inspired I'll be for that one.
First playthrough will be Human Male Rogue
2nd (If I survived the first) will be Female Qunari of some sort
Human Male Mage (with either Necromancer or Rift Mage specialization) and with a young (mid twenties-thirties) dark haired appearance. I still haven´t made my mind about romances, initially I would see Josephine as my default option being an heterosexual male (I am not interested in Cassandra at all), but Dorian seems like one of the most interesting characters so far and I am sure he is very well written seeing who has written him, and you don´t get the chance to know on a personal level a Tevinter mage every day so...
First playthrough: Female elf mage, female dwarf rogue or male Qunari warrior
At some point: Female Qunari warrior (because that's badass) and female elf something (because I want to romance Sera)
