I plan on playing each of the four races and splitting them two and two between male and female:
1. Male Human Mage (Knight Enchanter)
2. Male Elf Warrior (Champion)
3. Female Dwarf Rogue (Tempest)
4. Female Qunari Mage (Rift Mage)
I'd like to make a Reaver and Artificer as well, but I'll worry about those after these four. Assuming I love the game as much as Origins.
I hope I love it as much as I did Origins.

Male Qunari warrior first i think, then after that a female elf mage. I'll probably play all the other races and save humans for last. Just so bored of playing humans lol
Also, it's funny to see how little we knew only a year ago. I wonder what I was hoping to play? Country elf? LOL Silly me.
Guess I'll go with a female human mage, with an appearance (and attitude ^^) going hopefully a bit into this direction here (though she is not a mage of course). Eva Green is just too lovely to be real, actually...
And after that, or parallel to this, maybe a rogue elf female or elf warrior, to see what it is like to play one. And eventually a Qunari female mage as well, because it seems so extic
Im gonna play a Male Qunari Rogue (try to make him look as lean and roguish as possible with how buff they are i guess) and im gonna dual wield daggers. just because of how cute lil daggers look in those FREAKING HUGE OXMEN HANDS

For a start.
I wanted to start off with a Human Mage with the Rift Mage specilization and a grudge against the Templars (and the Chantry that backed them) with a preference for a green/purple color scheme for the inquisition and a desire to make it a more intelligence based orginzation. For him I was hoping to pursue a romance with our resident diplomat Josephine because Cassandra is pretty much halfway templar herself and seems too in love with her ideals. Appearence wise I wanted to give him a short beard with brown hair, tan skin and green eyes. While much of Thedas will blame magic for the new demonic onslaught my mage inquisitor will strive to prove once and for all that Thedas needs mages - and that mages are here to stay!
I then want to make a Qunari Warrior with the Reaver specialization and a love of big hammers. He will have no horns, just like Sten, and also have a more pragmatic view than that of my mage because, as a mercenary, he is not used to taking sides for political reasons. To him the Inquisition should be about strength and will work to make it a military organization capable of turning the tide of battle against all who oppose it. A red and white color scheme will be his preference, red for the blood to be spilled and white for the purity of purpose. Perhaps he and Cassandra will consider a relationship with one another should their respect for each other as warriors override their racial differences. The world is threatened, and even a mercanary must take a stand at some point - but will the strength and determination of my qunari inquisitior be enough to turn the tide?
Beyond that I do not know if there will be enough "ambigous" choices that have no true right or wrong answers that will ensure differentiation between my inquisitors. The past two paragraphs will ring hollow if both of my inquisitors make the exact same choices. It will also be detrimental if there is only one "correct" way to structure your Inquisition when it comes to the Strongeholds (For example: Just go Commerce based for gold!).
I always play as a female elf rogue in any game that allows it. But that's just my first play through.

I always played a mage. From the Warden, to Malcolm Hawke Jr, and now Kierro. I hope there's a sarcastic dialogue opinion in DA:I. I want Kierro to be kinda like the silent type, yet has a kind but sarcastic attitude to him. As well helps fellow mages, willing to learn all sorts of magic except for necromany (blood magic).
Dunno if I posted in here already ...
But I did a fem dwarf rogue in DA:O, and doing a male rogue in DA2 ... so will probably follow with at least rogue class in DA:I. Dunno about race/gender yet.

It will be a female inquisitor anyway but i hesitate for the race between an elf and a human. My inquisitor will be a mage !
I am liking the idea of a qunari knight enchanter if they are like a arcane warrior if not then 2hd or sword n shield qunari! Then a dwarf on my second play through, both males . Nov 18 cant get hear fast enough !

If I do get around to buy this, I'll be Vashoth two-handed warrior, human shielder, dwarven/elven rogue. I'm not feeling the inquisitor as a mage.
Elf, male, mage, black hair, grey eyes. Not sure about his specialization yet, probably Knight Enchanter.
Basically my Warden 2.0, but with tatoos, can't deny my Inquisitor's Dalish origin.
