Probably a Wild Mage. I mean, how often does what of your spells summon a demon on the first try while you're trying to escape prison? I mean really. ~_~
What race, gender, appearance, and class of character do you plan to play in DA:I?

I wanna play as a Seeker. I'd be a rogue if they don't have an awesome rogue like Varric.

I've kind of always rolled with mages so far. Couldn't stand the clunkiness of the melee classes in Origins, played as a mage 3 times through DA2 already, might try a warrior or something, but the mage is by far my favourite.

Mage, it's by far my favourite class. That said, I played warrior in Origins (I feel Lady Cousland got a more satisfying story for me). My Hawke was a mage, hell, if my headcanon holds she's out there leading the mages with Anders

Templar supporting mage, just to see characters reactions.

I tend towards rogues, mostly, so I see myself continuing the trend.

Well, my main character is always a male warrior who resembles me but my second walkthrough is a male mage who resembles me.

i think mage would be the most interesting, given the mage/templar fued goin on.
i would also like to be an elf again. i have never played as a female, so im going to be a male in da3. dont mess with success.

probably female rogue first, I always seem to start with that, (and be an Elf if I can be) and then eventually play through all of the other choices.

I have four playthroughs
Warrior, Mage
Mage, Rogue
Rogue, Warrior

For each playthrough I will be completing the trinity in DA3

I didn't play mages often until DA2 - and now, I pretty much play only mages for DA2 (I like their spells and combat better, like beating baddies to death with your stave instead of poking them and hoping they go away. I also liked how they tweaked the spells)
But I'll probably start with a rogue, I always do for some reason. And an elf. And use my Queen Cousland (<---) and apostate on the run with Anders as first import. Would seem to fit the "bigger" storyline best.

Mage of any description.
I just always roll with mages and, with the big ol' conflict, I'm interested to see how my class influences the game.

It depends on whether you'll be given an option to play a class you like in DA3.
- In DAO, I have to play rogue, if I want to open all the locks and all the chests and complete roguish missions(12 letters, for example). Or have Leliana or Zevran in my party at all times, and I don't want to.
So it's either playing a rogue with my favourite party of Alistair, Morrigan and Shale - or missing quests/including Leliana into the party(Zevran's initial cunning and lockpicking score is horrible).
And a blood mage Warden has no reason to include a Chantry sister into her party.
- in DA2, it's even worse. I can't play any other class than a mage, because then I'll miss one of my favourite party members, Carver, for an entire game! It's either playing a mage or being stuck with Bethany. No, thanks. Mage it is.
(To be fair, though, we have a nearly-universally-likable rogue, Varric).

I'm going for a elven ranger. Focusing on shortbows and probably some minor schooling in nature spells. Charm animal and such
