As usual(if possible), my first character will be a Male Mage, my 2nd a Male Warrior and my 3rd a Female Rogue.
What race, gender, appearance, and class of character do you plan to play in DA:I?

It depends on which class I feel is most natural in the protagonist's role. In DAO I prefer to play a warrior or heavy armor DW rogue because I just felt like it jives with the role the best. In DA2 though I can't really play anything except mages cause it feels wrong not to.

I first play as a rogue, because of these damned locked chests everywhere.^^
But I think the story will be best while playing as a mage.

I'd like to play a Timelord.
Using sonic screwdrivers and being ooooold.
That seems like a fun class to play as
SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS.
No, it comes with David Tennant hair.

It depends on who the protagonist is, and whether it actually makes a difference.
If being a mage in a story based around a war against mages and non-mages doesn't actually matter in the slightest, I may choose a warrior or rogue simply to stop myself from getting angry at how story breaking the game is.
If we are Hawke, then I will probably grit my teeth and stick with a mage though, for the sake of continuity.

I always start out with a Warrior. My first-ever Origins character was a Sword n' Board Warrior, though my final character - and the one I enjoyed most of all - was a Dual-Wield Warrior.
With DA2, My first character was a Two-Handed Warrior. This is the only character I actually finished the game with.
I never played a Mage in Origins, but it was easily my favorite class in DA2. Alas, this fellow was plagued by Isabella's dastardly attack speed glitch, and by the midway point in Act 3, he was unplayable. So I never finished him. I plan on making my final forced playthrough of DA2 - wherein I get everything as I want it for importing purposes - a Mage.
For Inquisition, hopefully Dual-Wielding Warriors will make a return. If not, I'll likely start a Mage first, this time around.

I always play dual-wielding daggers rogues first, then rarely switch. I don't like playing as warriors and mages that much on consoles, for some reason...

Depending on which one I get ready for DAIII first between my Rogue and Mage. (both are on Origins still) Failing that, my Warrior which is at the end of DAII.

Rogue, unless they keep DAII's ridiculous animations. In that case, Mage.

I always start off as a rogue. I will continue that for my first go around and then I will change it up the other times I play.

mage only - sorry, other classes are boring for me (and, in a world where there is magic, i would not want to be a person without that power!)

So far I've got a Human Male Warrior for DA:O, a Male Mage for DA2, so this time I am gonna be a Rogue. Gender on the other hand, I have no clue. I would like to play a female to mix it up, but I connect better playing a male.

Play through all of them as long as the gameplay is interesting. In DA2 case it wasn't so much.

Usually my first is a mage, my second an archer, my third a dual-wielding rogue. I'll play through all of them, eventually, but obviously I'm a fan of ranged combat.
